Morning, St. Merry's College 9 : 55 AM (assumption)
Everyone was busy in the preparation of college spring fest. Sai too was rehearsing her performance with her friends Amy and Sandhya. When Ritesh called her out walking down the stairs, she looked back at him while waiving her hand.
On the other side,
A handsome boy entered the college premises with a black Mercedes (assumption 😝) and a group of 3 of his buddies. They left the car and started walking towards the college building. The center of attraction was the handsome group leader ' Virat '. Everyone present there thought Virat had the attitude of being a " Talented Bad Boy ". In between that a girl called Riya got attracted towards him. Virat went towards the library and started writing some notes, while recording his voice in his phone.
Vaaste jaan bhi doon, Main gawaa imaan bhi doon, Kismaton ka likha mod doon.
Riya came towards him and started to seduce Virat. But Virat being Virat ignored her and went on with his studies.
Badle mein main tere, Jo khuda khud bhi de, Jannatein sach kahun chhod doon.
There Ritesh took Sai to a corner where he was yelling at her.
" I'm done Sai, I can't do it more. I'm done with this relationship so I'm moving out. Aur aaj mein tumhare saath perform bhi nahi kar paunga " Ritesh yelled at Sai.
" Please Ritesh don't do this to me " said Sai while crying and holding his hand.
But Ritesh jerked her hand and left the place. Sai was broken and tears were flowing from her eyes. She immediately rushed towards her friends took her bag and went from there, leaving her friends confused.
Tumse zyada mein na janu, Tumse khud ko mein pehchanu, Tumko bas mein apna main apna maanu, mahiya (x2)

There Riya grabbed Virat's phone and threw it out from the library window. And while walking Sai found it laying on the college ground, she picked it up and looked for it's owner.
At the evening, Sai was all ready for her performance and once again heard the voice note of the phone. Later, she went on the stage with her group for the performance. It started very well all were enjoying it.
Tere alawa koi bhi khwaish, Nahi hai baki dil mein. Kadam uthau jahan bhi jau, Tujhi se jaun milne (x2)
In between she played the recorded voice note of the phone. Virat who heard his recorded voice echoing from the college hall went towards it.
Tere liye mera safar, Tere bina mein jaun kidhar.
Virat who just entered the hall saw a girl with a beautiful smile on her face singing and dancing with her friends on the stage holding his phone close to her heart. Smile automatically got plastered on his face.
Tumse jyada mein na jau, Tumse khudko mein pehchanu, Tum ko bas mein apna maanu, mahiya.
Vaaste jaan bhi doon, Mein gavaa imaan bhi doon, Kismaton ka likha mod doon.
Sai again tried to start the voice note but the phone stopped working.
" What happened? " Asked Emy
" Pata nahi. Ab kya karenge " Sai said sadly
And then she just went towards the mic holding it she confessed.
" Exactly at 10 AM. Aaj mera breakup ho gaya...., isliye jiske saath gaana tha voh aaya hi nahi " Sai said sadly.
While her friends were looking at Ritesh who was standing at the corner of the stage.
" Bacha mera broken heart aur ye broken phone jo kiska hai pata nahi. Par iska voice note . Wow! Mere show mein mera saathi ban gaya. Par ab shayad iss voice note ne bhi mere saath break up karliya...., I'm sorry " She completed
All of the judges and audience went in Aww with her. And Virat who was watching her since he entered the hall blushed a little at her compliment and had a pleasant smile. When Sai was about to the leave the stage after saying sorry, Virat started to continue the song.
Badle main mein tere, Jo khuda khud bhi de, Jannatein sach kahu chod doon.
Sai turned towards him and saw him singing. Instantly she felt a connection with him and continued to sing....
Tuhi hai sawera mera, Tuhi kinnara mera. Tuhi hai dariya mera, Khuda ka zariya mera.
Sai who was lost in Virat was brought back to reality when Sandhya patted her shoulder.
Tujhi se hota shuru, Ye mera karwaa. Tujhi pe jaake khatam, Ye mera sara jahaan.
Sai and her group won the trophy as judges gave them 10/10 ratings for the performance. The hall was echoing with applauds. Later in the makeup room Sai and Virat both were singing the song simultaneously. Ritesh who saw them was fuming in jealousy and left from there. Sai gave back Virat his phone.

" This one! " Virat said.
"What about it? " Sai asked.
"That's how... " Virat continued

Whenever I used to see Vaaste I used to think that it should really be a story. And as I started writing so thought to penned this idea too 😁😝
