"I'm Niall Horan."

Light spilled onto the pale hand outstretched in front of me. My eyes twinkled. Hope destroyed all the brittle grief inside. "Are you here to help?" I asked meekly. But I was also secretly skeptical of this man. Totally not vulnerable and off guard.

Niall grinned with delight. "Of course." His voice melted to a soft and fatherly one. "Come with me. We'll take you home."
"N-No!!" I yelped. "Not there!" Niall horn's face was eaten by shock.

"Why don't you want to go home?" He almost laughed. "You were just kidnapped-"

"I know but I hate home!" I snapped.

I took Niall's hand and he yanked me up. The red dress I wore clung to my ankles. "Thank you." I huffed.
"Where will i take you if you're not home?" He peeped. I shrugged. It's not like I knew.

"Okay fine. You can stay at my place."

I grinned. We started walking. The trees were tall and fog overtook the forest. Leaves crumpled beheant our feet and then we opened a door. A portal opened. It was purple and void-like.

Me, being a crypto zoologist even if I shouldn't have asked I had to.

"So what happened between you and the direction?"

"Well." He began after a big long throat clear. "We broke up. I tried my hardest to keep us together as a cryptid council but Harry wanted all the power. We had to kill him because the hunters would take him and throw him in a zoo and we didn't want that. After that, no matter how hard I tried to at least keep us in contact, we all decided to not reunite because then Harry would come back and destroy the lives we built for ourselves."

"Wow. Ok."

Tears ran down Niall's cheeks. He then stepped into the void.

"Follow me." He sighed.
I did so.
