Chapter 12

Hobi Started driving and turned on the radio. He didn't wanted to speak anything. It's tiny language of turning on something that makes noise to say he is not in the mood to talk.

So I texted him : "You can't get calm at home too hope."

He opened the message listening to the notification and looked at me. His eyes were emotionless and his face went expressionless. I gazed at him with my bewildered eyes. I really thought the road was clean with no vehicles until I heard a loud thud sound

*thud*. Hope stepped on the brake immediately. He got off the car and asked me not to come out or get down. He turned on the child lock. A person got hit by him I guess. I didn't get to see what was going on down there. But Hobi and injured man started running towards the woods behind.

I was confused to the hell. I was keen enough to notice the bleeding knee a d forehead of that injured man. My palms started to sweat. I really got tensed. I opened the childlock and ran with them. But I lost their sight at one point. But I kept running in a speed hat wouldn't be dangerous for me and lil pal growing inside me.

I heard a scream from faraway and looked back.  Gosh!!! I bumped my head to a tree and blacked out.

As soon as I woke up, the bright lights hit my eyes. Damn!! My eyes are so sensitive to bright white lights. I found myself in a hospital lying on bed. Now iam confused. I saw nobody around. I tried to take off the blanket on me. But ouch!!! my fingers hurt. To specify,around my knuckles. I sat down. Why am I feeling lightheaded? I touched my head. There wax a bandaid.

In my room,Hobi sat on the chair and rested his head against the wall and closed his eyes. I cleared my throat and called Hobi in my feeble voice tone. He had some injuries too. I think he dozed off. He didn't even respond. I drank the electrolyte solution carton kept on the table beside  me and drank it. It took me sometime to stand study.

I called a nearby  nurse to first aid Hobi. The nurse got the first aid kit. She took a pice of cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide to clean the njured region. It really burns so bad. Hobi ca e back to conscious and started to wiggle his hand hard. He accidentally pocked his finger in nurse's eye. The perfectly placed kit on her lap fell on the floor making unpleasant noise. He screamed in pain "Aahh". I asked the nurse to leave it to me and apologized her. She simply smiled and went to her duty back. No wonder why nurses and doctors are so patient.

I took the kit I to my lap and requested Hobi to endure for a short time. His knuckles, cheekbones and lips were injured. But before I enquire, I first aided him cleaning the spot and applying the anti septic cream on injuries and handed him so,e electrolyte solution. He sipped it slowly.

Now the can is empty. I thought of asking him who he was. But it's clear that he's not gonna tell me now. His eyes looked empty from emotions. I kept staring at him with my questioning Doe eyes. He peered at  me.He scoffed and uttered " It's Seol Ji won,Min Ho's dad.". I left out a soft smile and replied "I didn't ask". "You're gonna ask anyways" he stated.

We heard a knock.  Our eyes fell on the door listening to the sound. It's my doctor also not to forget to mention...an old friend of mine Sana. "How are you feeling Mrs. Jung?"she asked with a vibrant smile. "Much better Sana" I said nodding."So, I want to know ....how did you black?"quired Sana. "Um..uhh...I banged against a tree I guess" I shrugged. "Ok,a y past medical history?" Asked writing on her notes. " I'm hypotensive beside..I'm pregnant " I said. "Congratulations Jung" she smiles." Are you on your pills yet?". I answered" Eversince I found out we're pregnant, I stopped taking them and got no free time to visit gyneo" I answered.

She wrote some tests and ran through them. Results showed me and feotus are completely fine. Sana prescribed some medicines and instructed him to apply anti septic cream twice a day to the injury till it heals.  Hobi and I had a small convo way to our apartment.  He asked me to get rest but I insisted to rest with him beside me. His mental crisis drives him nuts.

HOBI'S POV :

I know Seli is definitely gonna ask about it. So turned out  the radio. I'm mentally struck in hid words. I got a notification.  I opened it and looked at Seli.

Damn there!!!! I hit a person. I got down and instructed her not to step out .I went to see who it was.  It's a man. He was grunting clenching his teeth. His knee and head were bleeding out. I examined him closer.

It's that bastard. My sadness turned into anger. I grabbed his collar and started to smack him. I lost my control. He roughly hit his head against to mine making me fall on the ground. He started to rush into the woods. Not gonna leave him today.

I chased him. He is running fast. I tried reaching his speed. He banged himself to a big tree and fell down panting. I was so out of control that I tried to choke him to death. He made up a fist and started punching me. I'm not Ho na surrender. I punched him back even more harder. There were rocks around us. I had to take a rock and gift it to him n his head. He was beforehand. He had a rock on a hand and soil and dust on the other hand. He launched to rock at me and threw dust in my eyes. My eyes are now irritated. My grip around his throat loosened.

He pushed me and ran away. For a while, I really felt pathetic. My eyes are now ok. I found a way back to highway. But Seli...! "Why is she lying down there?" I asked myself with my eyes wide open and frowning eyebrows. I took her in my arms and gave a keen look. Her knuckles and head are injured. I ran towards the car and took her to the nearest hospital. Darn!!!Why does she have to come?. I gave myself a face palm with guilt.

The nurse got her dressed and cleaned her injuries. But I dozed off in the corner of the room. I sensed my skin burning and quickly wiggled my hand. Ouch!  I poked her eye. I felt sorry for the nurse. Seli sent her away and first aided me. She was ran through some tests after our small conversation.

Om the way back home I asked her"  Why the heck you ran after?"  grasping the steering wheel in anger, screaming internally. She asked me back" Firstly why did you? How am I supposed to leave that person who turned my life upside down and only leaving the terrible memories which were actually meant to be beautiful?" I yelled at Seli honking in the empty road. "But I wouldn't let your hands get dirty" she said holding my hand on the gear rod gently. I sighed sharply. We reached the apartment

I parked my SUV beside my Porche. I asked Seli to get some rest. "You are exhausted Hobi " she spoke slowly."I'm fine " I replied turning back not letting her see my face. I felt her soft little hand gripping my wrist "  I know you're not" . Yes,I'm not fine. I turned back again seeing her soft wheatish oval face. She opened her arms wide gesturing to cuddle. I just got caved in her embrace and gave ourself a power nap.

But why did Seol Ji won call me after years? What's the purpose to hide about MinHo's existence?
