Chapter 6: PICNIC CANCEL ?

Days passed and exams were over, management came up with an exciting plan to take everybody to northern areas for a joyful trip "yay, chal hum bhi form fill kar daite hain ?" umar asks three of them to come along but they simply deny "kyun, itna padne ke baad, don't we deserve going ?" he asks getting confuse, furrowing eyebrows.

They make faces "yaar bachpan se teeno badaun ke ijazat lekar, unse form fill karwa kar trips par jaate hain" fahad shares "what r u kidding me is age mein bhala kaun aisa karta hai ?" mocks his friends chuckle too embarrassing them.

"Hum .. hamare family values .. Is chees ki ijazat nahi daite" adil says, with a poker face "Tum log bache ho kya, ijazat ke zaroorat padte hai ?" one of umar's friend got carried away until an unless earned death glare from him to be quiet "dude u know what I understand .. take your time .. form le jao kal submit karwa daina" acts sweet infront of shehnaaz after studying her facial expressions reflecting, extreme anguish and disappointment.

"Yeah, will submit tomorrow !" adil turns to exit accompanied by his sister and cousin.

"How dare they kasam se mera dil chah raha tha wahin par gaar doon kamino ko .... samajhte kya hain aye bade cool dude .. hume neeche dekhane wale .. hamare tarbiyat ka mazak banane wale" a very irritated zoya agreed with adil as he kept on  sulking while driving back home.

"Tu kyun chup baithe hai, saanp sung gaya hai ?" Zoya nudges her cousin, she always has befitting replies, why has she kept her mouth shut r those exclusively packed for sidharth ?

"Galati unke nahi fahad ki hai kya zaroorat thi unke saamne muh khol ne ke pata hai hamare family kitne backward hai lekin nahi uske adat hai ye dekhane, jatane ke, ke hume bachpan se jaanta hai" shocking them.

"Are you for real just cause you have a thing for umar doesn't mean kai uske sage bann jaa hadh hote hai partiality ke shehnaaz tune dekha nahi kis tarha se woh hum par hass rahe thai, mazak bana rahe thai, how can you over look ?" zoya is surprise to hear her cousin's explanation.

"That's quiet judgmental, why to blame others when our own family is responsible for being .. unreasonably strict .. Zoya I think you've some major problems with umar !" shehnaaz doesn't back down from answering back.

"Do you even realize how much you have started taking his side ?" adil mentions, what's wrong so much loyalty and softness towards them.

"I haven't just stating facts which ur disagreeing for god knows, what reason ?" she doesn't like it feels embarrassed and ashamed whenever other people talk about their family background, most importantly nature and environment.

They feel too but what they're mostly disliking is shehnaaz's growing feelings towards umar, deep down it's causing tension between them "look, u are right about our family being conservative we agree too cause that's true, but yaar how can you not see them taking influence and trying to push our moral down ?" parks aside to explain her !

"Exactly, I used to laugh when people would say love is blind .. I can now see .. it being real" zoya adds on earning an eye roll from shehnaaz.

"Okay, I agree .. his friends were trying to do but didn't you see him covering up ?" she smiles like a fool literally getting into their nerve due to her recently, differed behavior "are you blind .. can't  you see .. what he's doing ?" zoya loses it, shouts in anger when adil gestures her to calm down.

"I really think, he tries to act nice and sweet only to make a fool out of you .. he wants to trap you I just can't believe his bipolar personality switches so quickly that he doesn't .. even give you time to react or doubt him" adil shares his thoughts.

"You two have lost it .. aisa kuch nahi tum log na over horahe ho kyunke uske dostaun ke wajah se hamare ego hurt hogaye .. dekh main nahi jaante tujhe ya phir zoya ko aisa kyun lag raha hai, uske liye mere dil mein feelings hain jiske wajah se ur right I do take his side but woh waisa bilkul nahi jaisa tum log describe kar rahe ho so please usko mere tarah samajhne ke koshish karo, umar isn't just caring he's supportive too !"
