"So what about you?" Y/N asked moving off the gravestone to sit beside Bakugou.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Well from what you said, we were dating. So what was your life like when I 'died'?"
Bakugou straightened up and replied, "Nothing changed. I kept working hard to get to the top."
"Mm. Love it. Now, you wanna try that again with the truth?" Y/N looked at Bakugou with a tilted head and a knowing smile.
Bakugou sighed. "Well, I did keep working hard to get to the top."

Although my motives were now different. I didn't just want to get to the top to prove I was the best, I wanted to do it for you. You've wanted to get to the top, to prove to yourself that you can be a great hero. So that's what I was going to do.
I don't know why, but it was like everyone was even more annoying than usual. I was snapping at people more often, I couldn't even stand to be around Shitty Hair.
Whenever I went to the gym or was even alone, your stupid face kept popping up. Part of me thought I could have done something to stop what happened. It was that same stupid voice that said I wasn't enough. You always managed to quiet that voice. Whether that was good or bad don't know.
"Hey man," Shitty hair greeted me as he walked up to me. I was in the gym at one of the punching bags, trying to train, "You ok dude?"
I wiped some sweat from under my nose and nodded, "I'm fine." Then continued to punch the punching bag.
"Are you sure? You've seemed distant ever since..." he trailed off.
I didn't say anything.
"Um, well, I did want to ask you something else," He continued, "It's about Jiro. Kaminari is really worried about her. She's bearly eating, and she hasn't come out of her room at all. We've all tried talking to her, but nothing is working. We were thinking, since you two were closest to Y/N, you could talk to her."
I stopped punching the punching bag, then walked away from the punching bag, to my gym bag, "There isn't anything to talk about."
Shitty hair seemed confused, "What do you mean? There is a lot you guys can talk about. You can talk about how you miss her, reminisce about what life was like with her, talk about her teddy bear-" he was cut off when I punched the bench my bag was sitting on.
I don't know why I did it. Part of me really wanted to talk to her, maybe it would help. But a much larger part of me just wanted to forget her. It hurt too much to think about.
After taking some deep breaths through my nose, I stood up and walked out of the gym, bumping Kirishima's shoulder on the way out.
After a while, Jiro eventually did come out of her room and came to classes. But, much like me, she didn't pay all that much attention. Her focus was always on the empty seat in front of me.
Eventually, our grades started to slip, so Mr. Aizawa had to call our parents. He suggested we see a therapist to talk to. At first, I hated going to therapy, but it did actually help. I thought you would be the only person I ever cried in front of, but it felt good to cry in front of a stranger. I got a lot of things off my chest that I didn't even know had held me down.
Jiro must have felt the same since she started to improve mentally. She was smiling a lot more, and her grades went back up.
Eventually, I did decide to go talk to Jiro.
"Oh, hey? You need something?" She asked after answering the door.
I sighed, "C-can- Can we talk?"
She must've had an idea as to why I was there, because she gave a sad smile, and let me in. We sat on her bed in silence for a few moments while I tried to figure out how to ask my request.
Eventually, I sighed and spoke, "Her family came by the other day to collect her things."
I didn't want to say your name, so thankfully, she knew who I was talking about.
"Yea, I saw that."
"The night before, I might have stolen her teddy bears."
She looked at me shocked, "You have them?"
I nodded. "You can have a few if you want."
She smiled. "I would actually like that."
I looked at her sheets to avoid eye contact. Then sighed, "I was thinking. You know, since she didn't get to finish her collection," I reached into my pocket and pulled out an arcade card, "we could finish it for her."
She smiled and nodded.
That weekend, we went to the arcade, just the two of us, to finish your teddy bear collection. What we didn't expect was what the owner did for you.
Hanging on the rack with all the other teddy bears, was a bear with a glowing white sword, little devil horns, and your hero costume.
"I know it's not much, but it's the least we could do." The owner explained. "She was gonna be a great hero."
"She is."
We spent most of the day there, playing every game and winning a bunch of tickets. Since you were already close to the ten-thousand mark. Can you guess which one we got first?
From then on, Jiro and I would try to go to the arcade at least once a week. Although with hero work, and school, it was hard. By the time we graduated, we had gotten the remaining three bears. And, Jiro finally got together with that damn spark plug.
On your eighteenth birthday, we decided to get tattoos. She got two teddy bears sitting with one fading away, and I got a teddy bear with a halo and pitchfork.
(I would love it if someone drew these, I think they would be adorable)
