Carefully slipping out of Abhi's arms, Pragya made her way to the window. She opened the wooden blinds, letting in the weak light of a foggy morning. The garden behind Baba's house was shrouded in mist.

"Come back here," Abhi rumbled from the bed. Worried that she'd woken him too soon, Pragya hurried back to him. His eyes were still closed, but he was holding an arm out for her, clearly expecting her to slide back into his embrace.

"I was thinking -"

"It's too early for thinking." Abhi reached out, waving his arm wildly to grab at her without looking. "We've lost too many mornings already. Come back and sleep."

The sureness in his voice bordered on arrogance. Her sweet rockstar boss with no memory of marrying her had definitely morphed back into her grumpy rockstar husband with no doubts about his place in her life. It was going to be annoying to live with his old attitude again...but somehow she could only be glad.

Surrendering thoughts of getting an early start on breakfast, Pragya got back into bed. Abhi's arm curled around her, as if it had every right to be there. Pragya smiled and thanked the heavens again that she was finally where she had every right to be.
