I was camping with the girls, my girlfriend, Garth, Hall, and Barry. But Karen and Diana were running late.

As we waited for those two to arrive, we started to set up the tents, the campfire, and Babs managed to put in a wifi modem or something. Jess wasn't happy about it but Kara and Hal stopped the vegan girl from getting rid of it.

-Don't worry Jess, we won't be using our phones that much, we will be all natural today. -I reasured her.

-Yeah, Jess, we will do a lot of natural stuff or whatever. -Kara reasured Jess too. She looked suspiciously at us.

-Yeah, and I can't wait to to start roasting marshmallows! -Babs exclaimed sticking her tongue out while hugging the marshmallows bag.

-Same, bring that marshmallows bag here! -I said.

-Hi, sisters, and boys! -Diana greeted as she and Karen got out of the car.

Diana came over to try to light the fire, of course followed by Karen who carried quite a few seemingly heavy things in her arms. Fortunately Kara got up to help.

Once the amazon managed to light the fire everyone came to sit around or gathered to prepare the food.

-Let's swim! -Garth exclaimed when we finished the snacks.

-Yeah!

We took our swimming suits and changed in the tents.

-But, first...! -Everyone turned around to look at Zee, she took a sunscreen out of her purse.

-Could you help me please, pretty? -I asked approaching to Kara.

-Sure. -She replied and took the white container. She applied sunscreen to my shoulders and slid her hands to my neck, then down my arms to my elbows, and finally concentrated on my back.

-Huh, enjoying applying sunscreen, Kara? -Zee teased my girlfriend.

-Oh? Yeah, of course. -She said smiling.

I just blushed.

-Want me to help with your legs too? -Kara offered. I blushed even more. I can't refuse that.

I noded and the blonde smiled wide. Once she finished, leaving me cherry red, she stood up. Kara, as a kryptonian, doesn't really need to protect from the sun, on the contrary, all the rays of the sun are welcomed when it comes to her.

We made our way to the lake, and I realized I forgot to say something.

-Hey, guys! -I started. -I brought water guns! -Immediately everyone ran in my direction looking for a good gun.

We started a fight, in which Garth was the first one to receive a shot, from Zee, right in his face. Jess shooting Hal as if her life depended on it, and Barry and Babs taking the lead thanks to super speed. Of course I teamed up with Kara, and thanks to my kryptonian girlfriend I can say that probably we won, it's a great advantage to have in your team someone who can fly, possesses super speed, super ear, infrared vision, and super human strength.

The hours passed and time with them was precious, Garth had fun at the lake, Babs and I eating roasted marshmallows while Barry eated everything he could find, Zee taking selfies, Jessica, Diana and Karen looked at flowers and animals, Hal had fun teasing Jess, as always, and Kara was something like the bodyguard of Garth, who got stuck in some branches in the lake.

Latter that night I was sitting comfortably on Kara's lap, approaching my marshmallow carefully to the campfire, I didn't want to start a fire in the forest or burn my wrist. As I reached out my hand with a stick holding my marshmallow, I stopped to watch Kara.

Her beautiful eyes were closed and she was humming a metal song, ironically looking peaceful since her metal music is not so relaxing at all. At the same time, she patted my thigh softly, following the rhythm, and I was more than happy to see her like that. Her rol as Supergirl was heavy for her lately.

-Wait, is that Hal screaming? -Kara asks suddenly. Due to her super hearing, she could listen Hal easily, but soon his screaming was loud enough for everyone in the camp to hear.

It is really surprising the way all the peace and silence of the area died in seconds.

-Wait, Hal! It's a living being! Treat it how you want to be treated! -Jess scolded Hal, but he didn't even tried to listen. Soon Jess started chasing Hal with a spatula in hand.

-Oh boy. -Kara murmured, but soon I started laughing and my girlfriend followed them with her gaze, seemingly amused.

-Should we intervene? -I asked her.

-No, let them be. This is the most interesting thing that has happened in the last hours.
