The Corrupted Crystal

Prologue

Allunrialite, a world where spiritual beings live together in peace, or somewhat that was a case.
A beautiful place with colourful glowy flowers grow almost everywhere and transparent white crystals, which represent each spirit who is and was here. There's a flower, only bloomed once in centuries, they call it the majestic flower, as it protects young spirits from external forces. There's also another thing the flower could do, as it blooms, a living being who had a crystal heart, which granted them immortality and magic. Their only goal is to protect the innocence as the flower dies out.

"But are we meant to be known about?"
"Oh Ellie, that's a complicated question to answer," Galaxia replied as she patted my head. As a curious spirit, I didn't accept that excuse. I gave her a glare.

"The spirits never knew about us, the Guardians. We were only meant to keep our silence and watch over the spirits," She replied.

We stayed in a cave covered with thorny vines, ribbons and here bloomed the majestic flower. The caves had glowing symbols drawn by the past guardians who died protecting Allunrialite.

A crystal was heard shattering outside and spirits wailing, flowers slowly faded and the vines tightened up to protect us and the flower.

"Sister Xi, what was that?"
"Do not move out from the cave!"
She ran out to check the situation, making the vines loosened and tightened again. I was left alone, with no one to share my thoughts to. I stared at the flower, which slowly lost its glow and petals faded

The hanging crystals, which were outside the cave chimed and the shattering of crystals and magical blasts were heard. I was worried about my sister as time flew by. I couldn't wait for her to come back and say everything is safe. Patience was not my thing. I stood up and loosened the vines, only to let myself free. The view was messy, shattered crystals everywhere, dull flowers and no spirit to be found.

The view of Galaxia left nearly stabbed to the crystal by a creature of some sort, who looked like they belonged here in the first place but was discarded as it lost its glow, shocked me.

"Oh how the roles have twisted. The so-called Guardian on the ground and the corruptor standing with only a scratch. Isn't it shameful?"

It giggled as it kneeled in front of my sister.

"What are you gaining by just hurting me and destroying this area?"

"Oh it's been centuries since I've last visited and I was expecting to see my old friend. Too bad I've met up with a catastrophe as I met you."

As I hid behind the caves, I tried to find clues to attack him from somewhere but I found a symbol on his belt, which matched one of the symbols in the cave.

"Now say goodbye and let Allunrialite be a-"
"Do not hurt her you uh, weird being! "

The fireball I threw did not affect him.

"What a surprise! You have a child of your own!"
"I am not Xi's child! I am her sister!"
I exclaimed as I ran towards it with my wand in my hand, he then just punched my face and I fell unconscious on the flowers

"Elementia!"
She screamed and managed to get up, summoning a hologram sword as she was filled with rage

"Oh Elementia is her name? What a little idiot-" Galaxia slashed his back and fell to the ground beside me.

"Your back would've been fine if you didn't punch her."
"I had to do what was necessary to protect myself, even if the weakest enemies tried to attack"

Galaxia remained silent.

"Why not have a small trade? I'll leave Allunrialite forever along with your sister."

"That is something I will never agree to."
She attacked him with fear and rage

"Too bad I never take no as an answer"
He teleported as a way to dodge the attack, holding me in his hands.

"Give Ellie back!"
Glowy stars formed above Galaxia, growing bigger with her rage and attacked again. The corruptor made a high jump and immediately teleported away from Allunrialite

"N-no.. He escaped with Ellie.."
Galaxia kneeled with hands on the ground. Tears dropped from her eyes onto the ground, growing flowers. Spirits came out of the hiding spot, seeing the mess the corruptor caused and Galaxia left injured and crying.
