Adeline walked through the doors of the Salvatore mansion in a beautiful tight black dress Ariella picked out for her earlier today.
The brunette sighs and starts to make her way through the crowd to find Ariella. The girl suddenly got tired of trying to find her friend in the big group of people and decided to grab herself a drink.
"Adeline." A deep voice said from behind her, causing her turn back around in a rush.
"Damon." Addie smiled at the familiar older Salvatore brother.
"Would you like to dance?" Damon asked her, which she happily agreed to, the two slowly walked to the dance floor and started dancing to the music. The boy had spun her around as she giggled of happiness.
After the music had came to a stop. Damon carefully led Adeline to a quiet room so they could talk in private without no one bothering them. The two sat in a silence for a few moments before the eldest Salvatore finally spoke up.
The girls head lifted at the sound of her being called "Adeline, i just want you to know that if you ever need anything from me. You can ask, okay?" Damon softly spoke to the gilbert girl who sat in front of him.
She nodded her before she spoke out "Why?" Adeline genuinely wanted to know why he had said that.
The black haired boy waited a few minutes before he responded to her question "I've always wanted to protect you since the moment i met you're family.I think it might be because i see you as a daughter, i haven't really thought about why." Damon told the brunette as she happily smiled at the man.
Adeline was glad she had another person to go to now. Both of them had gotten up and hugged each other before parted ways.
The girl walked out of the room and started looked around to find her best friend standing with Elena and Caroline in the corner. The Gilbert girl walked over to them and smiled as Ariella gave her a red solo cup. After a few moments the four girls fell into a silence before a voice started talking "Adeline what were you and Damon talking about when you were dancing?" Elena asked her sister.
Addie rolled her eyes at the question"That's really not any of your business now is it?" The youngest Gilbert told her before walking away with Ariella.
The two girls were dancing to the music as it blared through the speakers of the Salvatore mansion.
The girls would spin each other around every once in a while as a giggled when they spinned, their dancing slowly came to a stop as Adeline started to speak "Ella are you hungry?" the Gilbert girl asked in which she got a nod back in response" okay i am too, let's go to the grill" Addie spoke out softly and lead her out of the house.
Adeline had gotten in the drivers seat as ariella sat in the passenger playing "Better than revenge" by Taylor swift as they drove to the grill.
The two of them had finally arrived at the grill after a few minutes ago and were now seated at a table waiting for their food, Ariella talked as Adeline happily listened to everything she told her before the waiter came with the food.
The girls were now at Ariella's house watching ten things i hate about you as they had a popcorn bowl sitting in-between them.
Adeline had been obsessed with this movie for a few weeks now and had wanted to watch with ella since she thought tonight was perfect to watch it.
It been a few hours since they watched the movie, the two had finally decided they would go to sleep so Ariella turned on some background noise and soon enough the girls drifted off to the soft sound of the waves.

hii, i genuinely don't know how i feel about this chapter but i hope yall liked it.
This fancast definitely won't last but for now it's gonna be her until the end of season three.
