Matt and Steph had become really close friends, and it had only been a month, since they met for the second time at the café. They were together almost all the time. Since Matt was a youtuber and Steph worked at the nearby bank, they were thinking about moving into a house with two bedrooms. It would be a whole lot easier for the both of them; Matt could record and edit in his room, and Steph could be located closer to the bank. It would also work out, since Matt wouldn't have to be scared about future fights happening, since Steph was right by his side. They had found a house, that was within their price range, and it was in a nice location. It was in a quiet area, with a forest nearby. In the forest, there were berry bushes and a river not too far away from the house. It was also closer to the bank, than some of the apartments near that area. Matt made a video, telling his viewers that he was moving and would take some days off. They bought the house, and were ready to move in. Steph tried to convince him to take a longer break, but Matt was sold on a four day break. He thought that it would be enough for him to move in and get everything set up. On the first day, they would bring the absolute necessities in order to live, and bring other items in the upcoming weeks.
Matt had completely forgotten about The person, who attacked Steph, but the attacker hadn't forgot about them. They were lurking near, watching their every move. Steph had gotten information some time ago, that the attacker had been caught. Sure, the police had caught someone, but it wasn't the right person.
It was the first moving day. Stephanie and Matthew had almost everything in their old house in boxes and bags. The bigger furniture had to be moved by a moving company, and would take some days. In the meantime, Steph was already at the new house, setting some small things in place to mark, where things would go, when they got there. She had made a blueprint of the house onto paper, and had a picture of it on her phone aswell. The front door was at the end of a short hallway, with a closet on a wall and a mirror on the oppisite side of it. Looking straight from the front door, in front, there was a door to the only bathroom in the house. Next to the mirror, there was a door to a bedroom. Next to that door, there was another door, that lead to a small walk-in closet. Next to that door was the door to the other bedroom. The hallway opened up to a nice living room area, with an open -ish kitchen. The kitchen had a door to it, but on the opposite side, there was no wall there. You could walk in circles if you wanted to. In the middle wall, separating the living room and the kitchen, there was a small rectangle hole, with an island table on each side. On the right side wall of the living room, looking towards the kitchen, there were square windows and a door to the backyard. She hadn't claimed a room for herself yet, since she wanted the decision to be fair.
When Matt got there, he greeted Stephanie with a warm hug. He decided, that he wanted the bedroom, that was next to the bathroom. Steph took the other bedroom. They set up their temporary beds, and went to the living area to talk. Stephanie showed Matthew her blueprints, and where she thought things should go. Matt had only a couple changes he wanted to make to the plans.
"So, how long does your stuff take to get here? Mine come on thursday. Aka my second to last day off" Matt told. "Mine come here on friday" Steph answered. "Do you want to have a sleepover here tonight?" Matt asked. "Yeah, sure. I say we should sleep here, instead of our bedrooms" said Steph excitedly. "Why not in our own bedrooms?" Matt questioned. "I think it's a little scary to be here, without that much stuff in the darkness of the night" Steph answered, embarrassed.
They dragged their sleeping bags into their future living rooms floor, and got in them. "Wow, this is spooky. With not much light, and us being in this emty house. You were right" Matt said. "Yeah, it almost feels like someones watching us, but that can't be right, right?" Steph said, a little scared. Little did they know, someone was indeed watching them. They were writing things down onto paper. They had all black clothing, in order to blend in with the shadows of the night. When they noticed, that Stephanie and Matthew had fallen asleep, they left quietly. In the morning, Matt woke up and decided, that he was going to wait till Steph was also awake. In the meantime, Matt went on his phone, and looked at the comments on his moving announcement video. He liked and replied to some of them, until he heard Steph moving in her sleeping bag. He turned over and saw her opening her eyes. He closed his phone. "Good morning, Steph" Matt said with his morning voice. "Morning Matt" Said Steph, tiredly. "I was waiting for you to wake up. I want to check out the whole house, and then we should get some more stuff here" Matt said. He had somewhat already planned how the day was going to go, in his head. "You didn’t have to wait for me. You could've done that by yourself, you know" Steph said. "Well it's more fun with the both of us" Said Matt, smiling.
They got up after a while and started looking around the house. "I know you've already seen the inside of the house, but what about the backyard?" Matt asked. "Sure" Answered Steph. And with that, they opened the back door and went outside. "Wow, this is nice". It had low maintenance bushes as the border markers and a gate to the forest. Some of the trees were right next to the borders and a couple trees were inside the backyard. They looked around for a little bit, taking in the sunlight, until they decided, that it was time to go back and forth between their houses. Their stuff wouldn't move themselves in! They set a time, for when they were going to have a lunch break and left to get the boxes. With the last box in his hands, that he could carry to the new house before the lunch break, he couldn't shake the feeling, that someone was following him. He had looked behind him multiple times, but didn’t see anyone actually following him. Just normal people, doing their thing and walking somewhere. But the feeling was right. He was being followed.
Stephanie and Matthew thought, that the food didn't have to be anything special. Just something quick, so they could get back to work. They decided on pizza at a pizzeria. "Hey, I've heard there’s a semi new place close to here. It's called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. I think we should go there" Steph pondered. "Yeah, sure" answered Matt. And so they went, and ate pizza, while enjoying the singing animatronics. "I think this place is meant for kids" Matt said. "Kids at heart count too!" Steph argued.
