Wei Ying was 12 years old when he realised that he has fully formed his core. He got his sword and courtesy name. He named his sword as Subian and got courtesy name as Wei Wuxian. He still remember his brother giving him a strange look and everyone in the hall was laughing hearing his swords name.....

He was titled as head disciple at the age of 13 his brother gave him a look of jealousy and pain. Instead of being happy Wei Ying felt suffocated with lots of responsibilities. He started to wear a veil at the age of 13 because people started to give him more attention, Madam Yu criticised him by saying he is an attention seeker and a seductor he doesn't know the meaning of that word but his uncle Li was furious when he asked the meaning.

Second when he become head disciple that day he was whipped with full power without holding back he was forced to come to the field on the day he woke up after he fainted. But now he is quite used to these whipping, to these names, to these accusations.
But all these didn't stop him being his mischievous self. He teased and flirted with people. He pranked people but they all are fond of him. Yunmeng people loved their mischievous head disciple dearly.

Reading is something Wei Ying really like he was often punished to kneel at the ancestor hall which was has small library smaller than Jiang clans main library pavilion. He read so many books, sneaked books and read it in his room, spend hours in the library, he really like the time spending to learn new things. He is a curious cat afterall.

He was training with his shidis and shimeis when Sect leader came and said about the invitation to the lectures of Gusu Lan. He was excited to study new things.

He is looking forward to new knowledge.
