You'd walked into the pizzeria. Your favorite part about coming to work was Matt. And, if he wasn't there, you would never have come back. But sure enough, he'd stayed and so had you.
Your boss doesn't greet you like normally, but you don't think much of it. He had been busy recently, hadn't he? Best not disturb him. Anyways, you walked over to the prize corner, hoping to hear Matt's sweet, loving voice.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" Matt says to you once you get there. "Hi, Matt! What'cha up to?" You say, turning to look at him.
"Oh, not much! Just the usual routine. Selling toys, and having tokens thrown at my face! What about you?" Matt says, curling his hair in his fingers.
"That's nice. Sorry about the more aggressive kids though.. Anyways, I'm good!-" You say "-better now that you're here..-" You add, mumbling. Though he still heard you.
"Wh-What was that..?" Matt says, his smile slightly widening.
"N-Nothing!" You say, immediately. You didn't want him knowing you liked him. 'But what if he liked you back? No, no, he doesn't. Does he?..' You repeat in your head, your thoughts swirling around like a blender.
You were so caught up in your thoughts that you didn't realize Matt in front of you, which had been in position to kiss you.
"(Y/N)..? May I ask permission to give you a quick kiss..?" He asks you, in the sweetest voice he could manage.
"Of course, Matt!" You say, hugging him.
He gives you a kiss, which feels like it lasted for years. You loved him so much, and you were just so happy to see that he loved you, too.
