Walking back home we made small talk. "So, what are we doing?" She asked as we were getting closer to my house. "Ugh we are having a cookout and a movie night" I smiled. "Ooo! Sounds fun." She smiled back.
As we entered the house, I saw that it was only Chris and Mason on the couch and the rest on the floor playing monopoly. I was going to go sit beside Mason, but it felt like Maddie pushed me and sat beside him first. Here it starts.
So instead of sitting beside Mason, I went to my room. I got up there and just flopped on my bed. I had shut my phone off so I could read a bit of my book. I was reading until my phone dinged. It was from Mason.
Maseyy🤍 Hey! Come back downstairs it's so boring down here. Also, all Maddie wants to talk about is dance

I sighed getting off of my bed and heading back downstairs. I got downstairs and I saw Maddie still sitting there talking but Chris wasn't there so, I sat down and started watching tiktoks. Mason would nudge me every once in a while. Then I finally decided to say something. "Hey Mason want to go make a tiktok with me?" I smiled "Yea!" We both started to get up until Maddie started to talk. "Can I come?" She smiled at Mason "Uh let us go make some first then maybe we can." We hurried to get outside.
We had a trampoline outside, so we decided to go sit on it. "How was filming?" I ask laying my head on his lap. "It was great! Really fun experience." He smiled. "That's good." I grabbed my phone and started to take picture of us so I could post on insta later. "No don't post that!" He laughed. "Oh I am. Remeber when I told you not to through me in the water?" We both started laughing. Until our parents came out to start the cookout. Then, after that came everybody. Before, it was just me and Mason on the trampoline. Now it was my brothers, Brooke, Maddie, me, and Mason.
So basically, we couldn't talk because Maddie came and started talking, AGAIN.
**TIME SKIPPED**
"Alright everybody! Food is ready." I heard Mason's dad yell. We all grabbed a plate and sat down at the dinner table. Thankfully, Matt sat on one side of me and Mason on the other. Then Chris beside Matt and Nick beside Mason then Brooke. Maddie sat beside Chris. We all sat there, eating and talking.
"So, what are we going to watch tonight?" Maddie asked looking at Mason. "Uh, I guess we'll see when we go to watch the movie." I smiled. After a little bit, everybody was finished eating so we all decided to pile up in the living room. How our couch was mad was like a bed-Ish side on one in and the middle long another bed-Ish side on that end. Also, a recliner and a love seat. So there were plenty of room.
I lay on one side of the bed like side and Mason came and sat beside me. Maddie sat beside Mason then the rest sat anywhere they could. We began watching "The Conjuring" I am not a big fan of scary movies but that's what they decided on watching.
We were watching the movie and a jump scare came up and I jumped, and Mason started laughing at me.
"It's not funny!" I said in an angry but jokingly voice. "Yes, it is!" He continued to laugh.
We were halfway through the movie and I decided to go to bed. "Alright guys, I'm going to bed. Love you all goodnight. Oh and Mason, your bed is still in my room if you want to sleep up there when you go to bed." He said ok and I went upstairs. I brushed my teeth and did my skincare and flopped on my bed. But first I had to post on insta.

After that I started to go to sleep. I heard my door open revealing Mason. He was going the the bed that has always been his every time he stays the night. "Goodnight Rory" he said laying down. "Goodnight Masey" then we both went to bed.
