It was a dark evening, and my eyes were glued to the screen. I couldn't help but giggle as I read the message from this unknown admirer: "I was born to smother you with flowers. What the actual fuck?" I exclaimed in confusion. Who was this mysterious lover? I clicked on their profile, but all I got was nothing. It sent me to some other website. "Huh, they probably deleted their account out of embarassment." I muttered lowly.
I felt my heart skip a beat as I saw the message on my screen. A small smile appeared on my lips as I heard Anna's voice behind me. "Anna!" I waved my hands, delighted that she had my keys and had invited me to karaoke. "What's going on?" She leaned over the screen, furrowing her brow in thought. "Some mystery person sent me a message," I told her, pointing at the message. "No idea who it is," she replied, the corners of her mouth turning up into a smile. "Let's not think about it too much," she said cheerfully.
I felt myself being pulled along by her, a flush of warmth spread across my face. My gaze shifted to the heavens, the air was thick with snowflakes that had yet to fall..
