Details: The reader is female. This setting does not stick to canon and is altered to the true canon (do not take any events within this one-shot as canon, it is all a fan concept). The POV is a mix of third-person with direct second-person.

WARNING: This one-shot mentions drug/alcohol use, swearing, and other themes.This one in particular is a bit lengthy because I'm a sucker for discussing topics about gambling and casino-themed ideas. I do have a ton of AUs revolved around this idea, plus even have a mascot/per(sona) who is literally themed on that. I like to be a bit cryptic and blunt about it because it's a seriously cool but realistic idea in our world.

This is meant to teach a lesson about gambling and taking your chances in life. Please always take the windows of opportunity when needed, but never let greed take hold of you to where it will be your downfall.

Some of this was a part of an original book idea I had wanted to do but wanted to learn about Quackity's character a bit more than what I know before I start writing. Although he is one of my favorite characters, I can't say that I know everything about his character yet aside from the few major details. So that is why this one, in particular, might go way off the canon. This is fanfiction after all.

Last note, I promise. Except it isn't a note. It's a song. Thought it'd be honorable to include the song "Casino Royale" from Derivakat into this chapter since it hits super well for me (it's one of my favorite songs at this moment).

At the pique of war comes with a price. Price can mean almost anything. It could be anything. In this case, the price could mean the cost of war, friendships, relationships, or even trust.

The cost of war would mean a huge factor of all of the above. You could be ruining your friendship or relations with someone. It can change others' points of view on you.

Whether it can be started by fighting, owed payments, or even something else...

There will always be consequences.

Just like gambling. Gambling could be considered a way to start a war, but not in the way you think. You would be surprised how much suffering and pain it could cause and endure to someone.

Though, maybe it would be worth the high-risk everyone knew about. That's what gambling is after all.

Whether gambling for the right deal or for a wager of a price, those consequences come into play. If you lose, you lose, they think. But if you lose here in Las Nevadas, you'd basically be signing your life away. But if you win, you could be the happiest man on earth knowing how powerful you could get.
