Prologue

I stared straight ahead at the sitting figure before me, reading some papers with a rather serious face. His bushy brows furrowed as he read some more lines before he finally put it in a manila envelope and spoke to me.

“Here are your documents.” He threw the said documents in an envelope to me. This man is currently in charge of me. Without a blink of an eye, I caught it with one hand and signaled my departure.

“Wait.”

I stopped my retreat, and turned back. “Yes?”

A pause. I waited.

“What you will be dealing is extremely dangerous. Please proceed with outmost caution.” There was a tinge of doubt in his way of speaking.

“Yes.” I simply said and walked toward the doors.

As I close the doors, I caught a few more words.

“…because she is very dangerous…”
