The Kidnapping

Kendra and Jaxon we're playing in the woods. Their family's had decided to go on a vacation
to the redwood forest national park. The air smelled of pine. "This is the ultimate forest, I mean like, look at how big the trees are" said Kendra. "These trees are pretty cool, but have you seen the ferns?! They are SO cool, I mean who doesn't love ferns?" said Jaxon enthusiastically. "Me" said Kendra in a flat tone. "Just because you got bit by a spider when you ran through a fern once doesn't mean that the ferns are bad, just the spider" said Jaxon. "Yeah right" said Kendra with an eye roll. "Is that why you always wear baggy clothes? So that bugs can't get you?" said Jaxon. "Maybe... Hey man, I just don't like bugs" said Kendra. "Well maybe if you hair wasn't bright orange it wouldn't be a problem" said Jaxon. "Now your insulting my hair? At least I don't look like a wanna be anime character" said Kendra with a snicker. "Hey, at least I don't look like a wanna be billie Eilish" said Jaxon while wheezing
. "I'm about to punt this football at your face so hard" said Kendra. Jaxon and Kendra we're laughing so hard they didn't realize something was creeping up behind them... "Yeaaahh no I'm good, why don't I just say sorry and you don't break my nose with a football? Sorry Kendra, for those awful accurate things I said" said Jaxon." Yup, you just sealed your fate" said Kendra angrily. Just as Kendra was lining up her shot and Jaxon starts running away, Kendra was scooped up by something.
