Envelope

Uraraka POV

I was sitting with Iida, Tsuyu, Todoroki, Deku, and Y/N. Aka the Dekusquad.

Y/N told me to let them know when lunch is over. They just ate their food and soon fell asleep.

"Why is Y/N so tired today?" I asked.

"You and Midoriya weren't here for it but they got mad at Iida for telling them they need rest. Ribbit." Tsu said.

"Rest is important. Why would they get so mad over Iida telling them that they need rest?" Todoroki asked.

"I don't know really plus they even put an envelope on my desk. I don't know why tho." I explained as I took out the envelope.

Kendo then came up to our table and said, "I kinda over heard your conversation and I wanted to tell you that I met Y/N at their job so that might be why they are tired. They said they only work on Fridays and the weekends because of school and training but it can be tiring."

My eyes widen as I knew the reason for them getting a job.

"Thank you, Kendo for that information!" Iida said as he moved his arms back and forth.

"No problem. Now I got to go back to watching Monoma." Kendo said as she headed to her table.

I started to cry as Tsu asked, "Why are you crying, Uraraka? Ribbit."

"Oh sorry, it's just that I know the reason for Y/N getting a job and I feel bad for them..." I said as I wiped my eyes.

Deku who has said nothing so far asked, "What's the reason?"

"It's private information....sorry..." I said.

"It's okay." Deku said.

I got home and opened the envelope to see 960 dollars and a note.

Dear Uraraka

I got a job at a grocery store and are making 20 dollars an hour so for 6 days every two weeks I get 960 dollars. And it goes all to you. Hope you like the money. :) -Y/N

I started to cry as I read the note some more.

P.S: Don't cry, please.

I started to wipe my tears as I thought of what Y/N said when they saw my apartment.

"Look," Y/N said as they grabbed my hands, "I'll make this the best apartment when I get enough money. Okay?"

So, I decided to buy a bed and get some pink paint. I had a bedroom but I decided to put my sleeping bag in the living room since it's closer to the bathroom. I also decided to get a couch and a small TV if I can afford it.

Me: Hey, Y/N?

Y/N: Yes?

Me: Meet at my apartment. I got a living room now with a small TV and a bedroom that is pink. My landlord said it was okay to paint my apartment.

Y/N: So you got the money I sent you? Awesome! On my way!
