He stood up and looked around. The first thing he saw was a big fire with a lot of people sitting by it. He didn't know them but somehow recognized them. Most of them looked sad. Evan didn't care. Evan was, as girls in school called him, heartless, and he knew that was true but he didn't care. Evan's parents were just as heartless as he, that's why they all respected each other, or maybe it was more like they all understood that their lives were pathetic. But right now Evan didn't think his life was worthless: he was afraid. But he didn't want to show it, so he just sat down and watched the fire. After some time, a guy said: '' new one, am I right ?". Evan didn't understand but then he remembered. They looked like all the people who got possessed by the cat souls. That meant he was just one of them, or maybe he was just overthinking. As he looked around and saw that all the people were crying he got angry and sad: "Stop crying and help me. How do I go back to the surface, cause clearly you are doing nothing but whining!". As Evan said that, a little kid looked at him and said: "There is no way up, but you could go into the dark, idk what is there but Bill recently walked away investigating and never came back." Evan understood that they wouldn't really help, but the darkness looked scary, so he decided to look up. But then he screamed, because hundreds of cat souls were looking down on him and the other people and that was so scary and creepy... Evan decided that going into the darkness was better than standing and waiting for something to happen.A s he got nearer to the darkness, he started to understand exactly in how much of a trouble he was in. If he would get hurt nobody would save him. The crying people were nothing of a help and the cat souls would most likely hurt him even more if they saw him. After some time passed, he thought that it was Spanish in school. Evan hated Spanisch but right now he would beg to be there and to hear Mrs Lentan speak Spanisch. Mrs Lentan was always very tired, and that's why she would get angry if somebody would say one word, even if she asked to say it. She likes to frame students by making them be loud and then expelling them. In Evan's school being loud was a one way ticket to getting expelled- everybody knew that. But right now it doesn't matter, because he is here and not in school. He walked some more around and then he heard somebody walking. Evan's heart was beating faster, as Evan came closer to the noise ,he saw a girl. He knew her very well. As he looked at her he said :" Niko !?"
