8:21 a.m.

Every day I have the same routine. Wake up, get ready, make money, go home and do it all over again the next day. I'm simple trying to make it out the bottom. So I do what I got to. That's just the way it is. Now this story I'm about to tell is only from my point of view. Nobody else's. So let's get it understood right here. Right now. I don't know how I got in the position I did 5 years later. But here I am. 27 years old, multi-million dollar woman, with a 15 year old and 2 year old daughter. But what I can tell you is, I did what I had to.

Now let's start from the beginning. I was 22 years old. Living in the hood in a 3 bedroom 1 bath with my daughter, Eve. I never kept a steady job but I always kept a steady hustle. Those who get it. Get it. Anyways, I had just moved in 5 months prior during the winter time. So I'm well acquainted with my neighbors and what they did. I made a couple friends. But with that, I also made a couple enemies. We'll get into that as the story unfold though.

It's 8:21 a.m., May 12,2017. I'm walking outside to my trash can to put yesterday garbage inside and my neighbors' brother Manny, tall, bagel skinned, older guy. Anyways, he stopped me. As he approaches he starts to smile. I know that smile. It's the "damn,I wanna touch her smile." "Heyyyyy, chocolate." Manny says as he gets closer. "I been trying to catch you since you moved in. You like a ghost." I look at him up and down feeling out his energy. " Yeah." I say. " I'm more into being seen not heard, just noticed." He gives a nod of a approval of the statement I just made. If I knew this man would have taken me further than I ever imagined. I think I would have spoken sooner but back to our conversation. Manny looks me in the eye. Real mysterious like and begins to speak.

"What you do Queen?" Manny asks me while rolling up a wood. I looked at him puzzled, cause huh? Lol, like I legit don't know what this man is talking about at the moment. He says, "FOR WORK?" As if he already knew I was lost by what he just said. "Ohhhhh, that's what you meant." We both start to laugh. I reply, "I do this and that to survive. Always on my feet. Never on my back." Manny smiles at me . "Follow me. I got some to show you." HELL NAWL ! Yeen about to take me nowhere & murder my ass. I already knew you was a shady character . I said jokingly but I'm serious . Manny couldn't do nothing else but hit his wood and say, "Mane, follow me."

*let me pause the story and right here and fill you in. I'm spiritual. I talk to my ancestors and shit. They give me insight on my path. Some days I listen some days I don't. Now let's get back to it.

Something in me  yelled "GO, GO, CRANK UP FOLLOW HIM." Now why in the FUCK did I listen. SMH.
