"ANOR GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!" I startled awake to mother screaming up to me.
"COMING!" I shouted back down to her. My legs swung off of the side of my bed walking over to the large closet in my room next to the window, opening it I notice most of my non-girly clothes have been gotten rid of. I sighed softly grabbing my girl school uniform, the uniform being a constant reminder that I'm just a stupid little girl who doesn't know what she's talking about, and nothing will ever change. Once I was done changing, I sat down at my vanity brushing my hair and putting in all of my piercings.
"I SAID GET DOWN HERE NOW!" Yet another yell from her and definitely not the last. I didn't yell back truth is I love pissing that homophobic bastard off. Once I put my lip piercing in, the one I always save for last, because it healed wrong because of my idiotic mother and now it hurts a little bit to put in. Taking a deep breath, I grab my phone and open my door to go downstairs placing as little weight on the stairs as possible I reach the bottom of the stairs and walk into the kitchen. "Finally, it took you long enough ungrateful brat."
"Yeah, mkay I care why again?" I asked while rummaging in the cabinets for something to eat.
"I give you shelter, clothes, food, water, love! Why can't you just listen to what I tell you in return!" My mother yelled while I stayed quiet while getting chips and a cheese dip.
"Yep, y'know what I think you're right, but you see I'm not going to."
"ANOR CHIPS ARE NOT A BREAKFAST FOOD!" she scolded.
"It's not like there's anything else to eat in this house." I mumbled so she wouldn't hear my back talk as I really wasn't in the mood to be hit today.
"As elves we must be proper!" honestly, I wish she would just stop talking.
"Who cares anymore, dad is gone I listen to him not you. I don't even know how you got custody of me." I said rolling my eyes at her. During the fight for custody, she made up some bullshit lie about him abusing me and gave me bruises as "evidence" of him hitting me.
"I'm still your mother. I carried you for nine months. The least you could do is respect me." she took a step forward towards me as if challenging my presence. I chuckled slightly at her.
"What, oh poor you I bet it was so hard doing the bare minimum for you!" I said with a fake pout. She opened her mouth about to say something, but I cut her off by grabbing my bag and walking out the door.
