In the forest where Yona and Hak fell-
'I said I was going to leave this place but...' I thought to myself as I look in front of me. There was a giant demon on the path and looks like it's heading to the place where the others are. 'This demon had to show up.' Sign. 'What pain. I really don't want to deal with this right now.'
The demon look like a giant wolf with five large horns and warrior clothing. It was walking on it own two feet and looks like it was smelling around. Probably for food to kill meaning humans. Disgusting really and I would rather not see it right now. 'I really don't want to dirty my paws right now... sign... but it can't be help.' I thought to myself. 'I did promise that person that I would kill demons that are terrorizing humans. And I can just smell the blood of human all over him. Disgusting!'
I then look down on my left hand and finger my bracelet thinking. I then look at the demon and I can see that he finally smell me.
"Ho, ho. What this? I can smell a haft-demon around here," he said looking around now smirking. "But where are you? Where are you hiding yourself?"
"I'm right here," I said from behind him. He look behind him and saw his grin getting bigger. "Men.. you smell really disgusting." I cover my nose with my kimono sleeve with a disgust look on my face. "I don't really need to ask who you killed. By just smelling you I say you killed a lot of humans. I don't need to show you any mercy." I then slowly got a serious face my eyes glowing slightly from my seriousness."
The demon laugh at what I said. "And what makes you think that you can kill me haft-demon?" He asked me amused by the seriousness. "You're only a haft breed! You can't possibly kill me. Ha ha ha!" He laugh
"Heh.. that what you think," I smirk to him. "I guess I'll use her weapon. Besides I don't want to use my father's sword to a weakling like you," I said to myself grabbing one of the charms in my bracelet pulling it out.
"What are you talking about?" The demon asked confuse and then he suddenly got a suprise look as the charm that I pull out started to glow and grow. He didn't get to ask his next question because the next second his head was falling off his shoulders. Whatever it was fast and quick as it return to the hands of the haft-demon.
"Well that was quick," I said to myself. I then look at the demon to see its head on the ground and still has a suprise look. "Huh? Seem like your wondering what killed you. I'll show you," I then brought forward the weapon that was behind my back. It was a giant boomerang made with bones of the purified demons. "You can say you got killed by the this demon killing boomerang, Hiraikotsu. Though it's a copy of the original Hiraikotsu, it still as powerful as my god mothers weapon. She gave it to me after all while I was still training." I look at the weapon fondly remember what I promise her.
Flashback- 5 years old Yuuki
I fell down while my god mother Sango gave me her weapon. "Ow, this thing heavy. How do carry this thing while fighting demons?" I look up at my god mother asking her. She was a very beautiful woman. She has a long straight black hair tie behind her in a high ponytail if she was in battle mode which she is right now since we're training. But if she is only trying to be normal she has her her tie in a low ponytail. She wearing her usual battle gear which is her pink and black demon slayer armor.
"Well, I have a lot of physical strength in me that why I can carry Hiraikotsu," She answer. "If I don't have that strength then I won't be able to protect the people that I love," She then pull the Hiraikotsu away from me then put it behind her back. I then got up and look at her excited.
"I want to have that strength too. That way I can protect mother, father, you, uncle Miroku, and your children's as well," I said to her smiling. She laugh at me.
"Alright, I'll train you in the ways of my people, demon slayers. But first can ask are you just going to protect only your family?" She asked me kneeling down in front of me. "What about the other people who can't protect themselves? Are you going to protect them?"
I then pout and got a look of saddest. "I don't need to protect them if they can't accept me as I am," I answered her as I look away from her. I then touch my white dog ears and then look at my long nails which are sharp enough to kill a demon.
Aunt Sango then turn my head so that I was looking at her brown eyes. "Now you listen here young lady. They don't have to accept how you look but you can make them accept who you are. If they don't like how you look then you better off not knowing them. But know that you must love those people even if they don't accept you because it's in your human's blood to love and accept people just like your mother. Same with demons. Though some of them are really bad. Accept who you are. All of who you are and do not let anyone get on your way of protecting what important to you." She said seriously but with kindness in her eyes. "Protect the weak when there is no one there to protect them. It's all going to be okay even if they don't accept how you look or what you are because we're here. Your mom, your dad, Miroku, and me. Will always be with you. So accept yourself and don't ever change the way you think of yourself. Your beautiful just the way you are. Have courage just like you are name after." She then hug me and I started to cry a little for what she said. It warms my heart that someone accepted me and so I will make this promise.
"I promise I'll protect the weak. I'll be strong so no one can take away what's important to me. I promise I'll protect my family. I promise!" I cry to her as I tell her my promise and she smiled at me.
"Let get stronger together so that we can protect the people that we love," She said to me standing up and holding her Hiraikotsu. I just nodded my head standing as well with a determined look on my eyes.
End of flashback-
'Though I couldn't protect my family in the end. I will still keep that promise and look for brighter tomorrow until I meet them again.' I thought to myself sadly looking down. 'I hope that I'll meet you guys in the end.' I then look up and said to the demon, "So yeah you just got defeated by this haft-demon. Now go to hell!"
"Imposible!" He choke out as he disintegrate into nothing.
"What a pain," I sign to myself as I turn around jumping from tree to tree my weapon turning back into a charm again. I continue this until I came to the last tree near the cliff. I then sit myself down at the tree and look at the sun setting. I can hear the woman and the priest talking looking at the world below them. Thousand of nature blooming down the cliff watching the same sunset as we do.
They start to talk a little and then start walking back toward the hut. I sign again and look around. 'Hmm, I guest I'll take a nap here.' I then look at the sunset. Then close my eyes and fell asleep dream of the happy days when my parent and their friend along with me are laughing together. I can never really smile the same way I smiled back then.
So this is the end of chapter 2. I hope you guys like it. I know that I didn't do well with my description and my grammar but just bear with me. And I know I have spelling corrections too. Anyways I'll try my best to update 1 chapter every week but I'm not sure I can do it because of work and my laziness. I might post and chapter tomorrow might not. I don't know. Also Hiraikotsu is Sango's weapon. What Yuuki is using right now is a copy of Hirakotsu because she been train by Sango. Pretty much she been train by everyone including Sessomaru. You guys will find out about the details later. Well happy reading!
