Sorry this one's pretty short but I couldn't come up with many good ideas and I thought I might as well pump out SOMETHING
Opening the doors to Junior's, you realized the place was a bit more...run down than the night before. As in, the gathering dust had begun to be more visible and a funky smell in the place had become stronger. You crinkled your nose and rushed to lock the front doors before heading to your office.
"What the hell is that smell...?" You remarked crossly.
"Hi!" You jumped up at the sudden dialogue to your right. The one and only Balloon Boy stood there. "Hello!"
"Oh, it's just you...hi." Honestly, for a second there, you'd thought someone else has gotten in the building. It was only then that you realized where you were. The carousel stood right next to Balloon Boy, so he hadn't moved, so...
You walked further down and turned a corner. As expected, there were two rooms connected. One had the garbled static that belonged to Mangle, while the other played the soothing music box you'd quickly associated with the Puppet. The two noises overlapped each other, each battling for a seemingly more dominant sound.
You turned the corner and saw Mangle in their usual spot on the ground. You clapped your hands to get their attention.
"Mangle!" You called. The fox animatronic piped up almost immediately at the sound of your voice. They lifted onto their three legs and ran...galloped....crawled..somewhere between those lines....over to you. The animatronic pounced on you excitedly almost like a dog and nuzzled the top of your head. You were on the floor now with Mangle standing over you. You grabbed Mangle's head and patted her head affectionately. "Good to see you too, heh. I'm gonna see Puppet, then I gotta go get on my shift. Alright?"
Mangle got off of you and laid back down on the floor. You sat back up then balanced yourself onto two feet again. You gave Mangle a quick pat on the head and a wave before turning into the other room.
Puppet's room was peaceful as always. Well, it could be a total disaster during the day, but it was always so mesmerizing how calm it was during the night. You noticed the music box was still playing, but Puppet had already begun to peek out of the box.
"Oh," you piped up. "Whew, I thought I'd have to stop the music."
"No, please don't." Puppet's small, child-like voice asked you. "I like the music...don't..have to..fall asleep. Tired but still..awake..at least...."
"Oh. Well, if you want to sleep, I can always--"
"No," Puppet interrupted. "Stay. It's..nice....to have company. Besides the Toys. Toy Chica was especially aggravating today..."
"Oh, I bet." You agreed, pulling out one of the chairs at the Prize counter. "How was the dayshift, too?"
"Just like Toy Chica...loud..kind of annoying...." Puppet trailed off.
"You seem very tired, Puppet. I'm gonna go, I'll head down tomorrow during hours to talk to ya. How does that sound?"
Puppet only nodded in response. You took it as that and left it at that. You walked through the room and turned into the stage room. You took a quick glance at the stage and saw the animatronics on stage, not counting for all three. The lights were off on the stage so you assumed they had been manually switched off. That's what the usual protocol was, after all. So you didn't pay much attention to the show stage as you set your bag down on one of the tables.
"Come on...I swear I have it here somewhere...." You began to ravage through your bag for the Chica plush you'd brought from home. You won it at a fair a couple days ago but had forgotten to bring it.
"There!" Your hand met the soft plush fabric and you tore it out of your bag, setting the toy onto the table next to you. Still just as new and adorable as when you first got it. You couldn't wait to show Chica. In fact, you thought about her a lot more often than you thought was normal. You might have formed a small crush on her, even. Speaking of the chicken, you were stricken with shock when you looked down. What appeared to be a shadow of the chicken appeared above your own from the moonlit window nearby. You didn't have time to turn around before Chica grabbed your hand and shoved you down with her other hand. You were laying against the table, your back facing up so you couldn't see her.
"Oof! Umm....Chica...??" You said. "What are you....doing...?!" You began to struggle against her. She had always been so kind to you, why was she being so violent all of a sudden? You felt the hand against your back release as the one holding your hand twisted around to hold you down. You felt her come a bit closer, her legs on either side of yours. In your left vision, you saw her yellow hand grab onto the plush and lift it into her vision, and out of yours.
"Hmmm..." she hummed with a small giggle. "You got a gift...for me?" You tensed up. Something was different with her voice. You felt the cold metal of her finger sliding up your spine. It sent shivers up your said spine and made you gasp. Suddenly, she grabbed a hold of your other hand and flipped you over, now pinning you down so you were sprawled over the table. You could see what was up now. Her beak had been torn off, and her eyes were pitch black..except for the two small white hearts as pupils. Your face flared up."...I like gifts~"
