"He's cute" she thought. Soon they both realize they had been staring at each-other for a long time, they both looked away . Will whispered "do you like my daddy?" Will said Joyce blushed and said "uh w-what makes y-you say that?" She asked scared because he might be on to her "well because you guys are staring at each-other and guess what?" He asked
"What?" She asked will whisper and looked around to make sure no one is looking "I can read minds" will said "oh shit" she said
"Well umm I kinda like your dad.. I know we barely even know each other but it's just a small crush" she said. Joyce turned around to look at hopper. "What's your name mister?" She asked the man "Jim, Jim hopper, what's your name?" He asked. "My name is Josephine Byers, but I go by Joyce or Jo" she said
"Pretty name Joyce" he said while smiling " thanks" she said blushing "your welcome" he said. Joyce turns around to get a piece of paper a and a pencil. She starts writing down her number, she turns around to hopper and gave him the paper with her number on it. And she turns back around.. Hopper was happy because a famous model was actually talk to him.
He took the paper and started to dial her number. Once he was done he texted "hi" Joyce got the message. She looked back at hopper and smiled. He smiled back. Joyce turned back a around a started texting hopper to get to know him better. They did that the whole plane. Soon hopper gain a crush on Joyce. 4 hours later they landed, they said their goodbyes to each-other.
Joyce and hopper has known eachother for 5 years. They hanged out every day, Joyce even came for "bring your parent to school day" at wills school since he didn't really have a mom because he was in the lab a few years back so hopper asked Joyce if she could come "bring your parent to school day" because will said that Joyce was like a mom to him.
A few days later hopper decided to confess his feelings to Joyce, but before he went to her house he went to the store to buy her favorite chocolate and her favorite flowers. He got a family size heresy kisses and roses. While he was driving he was thinking something to say to Joyce. "Hey Joyce we have known eachother for 5 years now and umm I was thinking maybe would like to be my girlfriend?" He thought he was thinking about watching a movie with her and then poping the question.
Hopper was gonna take Joyce to the movies then he was gonna ask the question. 15 minutes later, he arrived to her house, he grabbed the gifts from the passenger seat, and got out of the car, he walked towards the door and knocked. "COMING" Joyce shouted joyce walked to the door and opened the door. She saw hopper. "Hey hopper what's up?" She asked "I'm good how are you" he said
"Im fine" she said hopper showed her the gifts a gave it to Joyce "omg hopper thank you, but may I ask why did yo give these?" She said confused "I was wondering if you wanna watch a movie and have dinner?" He said Joyce was happy because her crush was asking her out "OF COURSE I LOVE TOO" she said excited "come in" she said "imma go put the chocolate in the freezer and put the flowers in a vase, you can wait in my room and we can watch the movie her-"hopper ran up to Joyce's room not letting her finish her sentence. Joyce laughed God,she loves hopper so much she wanted to tell hopper how she felt but she was scared that he might rejected her. Once she was finished putting the flowers into the vase and the chocolate in the freezer she walked up to her room to see hopper talking to himself
She realized that he was talking about her and he was talking about on how hopper wants to be her boyfriend. Joyce had the confidence to ask hopper to be her boyfriend because she now knows that he wants to date her. So Joyce walked in like she didn't hear him talking about her. "Hey, umm hopper?" She started
He turned around to see Joyce standing behind him "yea?" He said. "So I was wondering if you wanted to be my boyfriend? You don't have to be my boy-" then hopper picked up Joyce and said "I would love to be your boyfriend, I was gonna ask you if you wanted to by my girlfriend" he said
"Oh yea?" She said while smiling "yep" he chuckled joyce got on her tippy-toes to kiss hopper on the lips. The kiss gotten deeper. Joyce had broken the kiss "hopper, we should finish this tonight ok?" She. asked
"But I want it now joyce" hopper whined "you will get it but,now we gotta find a movie for tonight all right?" She said "ok" he said. A few hours later it was already night time will was at hopper moms house for the weekend. Evelyn (hoppers mom) adores will, she loves him so much. (Back to Joyce and hopper) "so what do you wanna eat" Joyce asked while walking towards the kitchen
"Whatever you want darling" hopper said while walking next to Joyce. "Umm do you like steak and mash potatoes? Joyce asked hopper " yea I do" he said. "Well I guess we are having steak and mash and potatoes, just to let you know I make the best homemade mashed potatoes" she said while get the ingredients for dinner. "Hey umm joyce, can I tell you something embarrassing?" Hop said
"Of course" she said and she looked at hopper "I don't really know how to cook so can you teach me please?" He said shyly. "I would love to teach you how to cook" she said. "Really?" Hopper said, then hopper put a smile on his face because he had someone to finally teach him on how to cook. And he was happy cause he didn't have to waste any money on takeout.
