Kaiya's pov:

Looking out onto the deep sea surrounded by tons of elemental masters felt like a fever dream or a sense that grave danger was about to happen. 'Why did I even agree to come' the minutes felt like hours... torture this was just standing around just torture.

I was walking around ninjago passing the many scenic routes and the titanium ninja memorial, 'bless his soul' I thought while passing. Just then while I was turning the corner of a boba shop I saw a particular man you wouldn't see on a everyday basis, he had purple face paint in a sort of snake like style, clothes with everything but a shirt... I mean c'mon how egotistical can you be to walk around without a shirt on in the middle of autumn. I decided to keep a close eye on him just incase he did cause a little scene, I know call it stereotyping but I just had this you know gut feeling that this guy was trouble. Perhaps 5 minutes later the man began walking again but this time he had dropped something and I guess curiosity got the better of me because the moment he was no longer in sight I picked it up. It seemed to be a fortune cookie... wait why would he be carrying round a fortune cookie...weirdo. But I guess I'm more of the weird because instead of putting it in the bin and carrying on with my day like a normal person. I decided to open it and read the fortune, I know dumb but hey at least I didn't eat it now did it! Anyways when I opened it, it didn't have a fortune in it but... my name? What-

Hold up isn't Chen that super popular noodle restaurant down the road from where I live... and he's a master now..What type of witchery is this. And hold up! Master of illusions... NAH it's meant to be mistress of illusions! It sound so much cooler.

And now here I am stuck on a dock in Ninjago with a bunch of strangers who happen to have elemental powers like me, waiting for a ship to arrive to take us away to this mysterious competition. Fun i thought while I was watching the ocean to entertain myself, I hear some people make a loud introduction to the docks almost like they were saying 'look at us! Please look at us we desire your attention!!' And when I turned around to see who they were and saw'...oh...' I thought they were going to be a bunch of stuck up teenagers but they're the ninjas, well all except the green ninja

3rd person pov:

Once all the ninjas except Lloyd made there way to the dock they were now waiting for the arrival of said green ninja, and speak the name and they shall appear. Lloyd began to speed walk down towards the ninja avoiding the glares from the other elemental

The ninjas all agreed in union taking their own hoods of to reveal there hair and faces

"The tournament of elements, you think they all have powers like us?" Kai asked

"When I asked my dad about it, he got really suspicious. Like there's something he's keeping from me." Lloyd answered in a tone that sort of seemed disappointed in asking his father about it

"The fortune cookie said 'tell no one or there will be consequences" Cole replied

"Relax we're cool" Lloyd said

Then silence swept amongst the docks and not a moment later a ferry pulled up, and not a nice looking one either an old almost broken one.

"We don't know if this is a trap or not. Wherever they take us we have to stick together" Lloyd reinforced
