Patience

I have zero patience for the small things in life
I raise my hand when my food takes long
I tap my toes when the bus doesn't come
However, I have great patience when big things go wrong.

When voices rise
when hearts break
when nothing goes right
And my plans are waste
A deep reserve of silence, my ocean is still
No waves ebbing
No fishes swirl
My glass can't be tilted to show you half-empty or full
I have contained in me every molecule

I have great patience for big things
And little for small
