Bryan shot awake, he was breathing heavily,

He was still stressed out, this was a completely new environment than he was used to

His mind was racing, but, he slowly got his breathing under control

Then he realized, he wasn't in the alley anymore,

He was in a room, on a dark red bed,

He was confused,

But then his memories came back to him,

' ah, ...- I used the card- so quickly too, -'

*sigh*

' wait... Inpu said it came at a cost- '

Bryan's brain wasn't yet working,

So he didn't think logically yet, he did just wake up

' wait-...- '

He immediately thought of something that made him panic, and it had to do with the fact he was on a bed

He just scrambled out of the bed, but then he heard the door open

"Oh, okay good, you woke up,- didn't expect you to get affected so easily-"

It was Inpu,

Bryan just stared blankly at him

"What? I just helped you out of a situation, and all I get is a blank stare-?"

"You-... You said it will cost me something to use the card-..."

"Ah, yeah, you didn't read the other side, did you?"

"I'm sorry, what -?"

"Well, the consequences of using it, makes your soul mine in the process"

"Oh-..."

"Yeah, it counted as a deal and deals down here are done by giving away your soul"
