Prolouge:
This is a story about me. Megan Elizabeth Thorne. I am a teenager, just living life. Sometimes living life takes you places that you would never expect.

Chapter One:
I waved goodbye to my best friend, Becca, and started walking towards my house. But that was the last time for a while that our usual routine would occur at 3:30, every day after school. I basked in the sunlight during the 10 minute walk from Lincoln High School, to 324 N Oak Street. I was a junior in high school, just hanging in there for another year and a half. But the beginning of my whole life was about to begin.
I hurried into my small, yet cozy bedroom and took out my huge, deep purple suitcase and began to shove every article of clothing I owned into the bag. Then I grabbed various tote bags and other carrying devices and jammed most of my possessions into them. Neatly, but rushed, I fit nearly everything I have into a big piece of luggage, and 4 tote bags.
I picked up my old, beat up Louis Vuitton, from Goodwill, and put my cell phone, wallet- stacked with every penny I’ve saved since I was 13, and some chapstick. I took one last look around my room and sighed. On the way out I dragged my fingertips across the deep blue walls, soaking in every memory from this room, since my family moved in when I was 2. I touched my cheek and realized I was crying.
Maybe this isn’t such a good idea. I second guessed, gazing at my childhood bedroom.
But I just wiped my eyes forcefully and picked up my bags. I marched down the short staircase into our front hall way. I went into our fire truck red painted kitchen and wrote a quick note to my family, explaining where I was. With that, I held my head high and walked out of the door and away from the place I called home for as long as I could remember.
I was running away.

Alright! So I deleted my other story ‘I Don’t Work at Starbucks’ because I need to develop the idea more, but it will be back, I promise!
What do you guys think of this story?? I kind of like the idea so far, though I don’t really know where it’s headed yet!
Ah Sunday. It is my favorite, and least favorite day of the week!
I will probably update later today, although I have to work on my science project. Oh well!
