Trapped

Chapter 5

7:46, I wake up beside Michael who's snoring so loud, I swear to god he's a bloody elephant. I wake him up with a gentle shove. He wakes up and we decide to go down to the SOS and make sure that it's still in the sand. I run down to the sand and Michael chases me and catches up with me and trips me over on the soft sand. I let out a small laugh and he gives me a hand up. "Yep, the SOS is still in the sand with rocks filling in the holes." I say to Michael. We walk back to the others and there all awake. "Ok we need to get something to eat" Luke says in a determined voice.

"Yeah we need to get something to eat,I'm starving " I say to everyone. What about we go fishing or something, like get a stick and use the lifeboat to hover over the water to see under since it's so clear." Michael stated. "Yep, I agree," Emmalee said. Emmalee was Calum's boyfriend who's friends with Jenna also. We all go over to the water and practically a shower all the girls including me strip down into our underwear and swim in the water to wash off all the itchy grubs from sleeping.

I went back to the guys and Michael whistled. "Don't be silly" I say. "Just stating the hot facts" Michael replied. I sat next to Michael and we began to talk about his career in music. I asked "who's cooking the fish and who's Speer fishing it with a stick". "I'll cook"' Jenna and Luke said. "Me and Calum can get the fish" Emmalee said. "Ok so now we have dinner ready I have an idea for brunch" I say. I told everyone one too look up.

"Coconuts?" Ashton said confused."Yeah coconuts, it's going to be hard to climb up it so I have a idea." "What if we cut up shoe sizeable holes in the tree to climb up." "Holy shit that's a smart idea" Michael stated. It took us about 40 or so minutes to cut out the holes but it worked. Calum climbed up and got the coconuts. I used a plastic bag that I had from my personal bag that I grabbed before we go out of the plane. I put the coconut milk in the bag and cut the coconut on some Palm leaves with sharp sticks.

We evenly cut up the coconuts and ate them. We saved the coconut milk for later. We all sat down together and basically talked about ourselves, until I brought up, "how are we going to get out of here". Everyone went silent. "I don't know, I really don't know" Ashton answered. I" guess we will have to keep the SOS in the sand and see what will happen" Michael said. "I reckon tomorrow we should explore the island a bit more, and guys I did see a person there I don't think we're alone." I said
