"Hey! Tanjiro!" A girl called out to me. I turned around, only to be met by one of my classmates, Tēra.
"Ah, ohayo! Do you need anything Tēra?" I asked, shifting my full attention to the girl in front of me.
"Well, since it's Halloween, I'm throwing a party Tonight! I'm trying to invite everyone, but it's going to be really hard to hand them all out when there's only one of me. I was hoping you could help me?" She asked, shifting a satchel on her hip to her stomach, opening the flap and showing me how many she had left, and boy did she have a lot.
"Oh, uh, I just need to drop some papers off to the professor if you'd like to come with me, then I could help." I responded, adjusting the sheets in my arms.
"Ah! I see. Do you need help carrying it?" She asked, closing the satchel and moving it back around to her hip.
"No, I think I should be fine. Thank you for the offer!" I replied, flashing a smile once I finished my sentence.
"Alright then, let's get going!" She said, moving beside me as I began walking off with her.
While on the way to my professor, she began explaining some of the details about the party.
"So basically, it's kind of like a competition for best dressed, and whoever wins gets a reward! I have the prize prepared at my house, and it'll be announced and handed out once the winner is chosen." She continued babbling about the plans of her party, and I added a few small comments and praises for her neat ideas. Once we reached the classroom, I quickly went inside while Tēra waited outside, placed the papers on her desk and left, earning a thank you from my teacher. I stepped outside the room, closing the door behind me.
"Well, now that that's done, can you help me?" Tēra asked, opening the satchel once again. She grabbed around half of the flyers out, holding them out for me, which I took gently so I wouldn't crease any of them.
"Oh! By the way, you should take one for yourself!" Tēra added.
"I probably won't go so it's pretty pointless. I'm still caught up in my studies after all." I quickly replied.
"Come on, please? Just this one night completely study free, and just having fun?" She responded, looking at me with a pleading expression. I couldn't deny her request, because faces like hers are just to cute to deny.
"Alright, fine. Just this once."
"Yay! Arigato Tanjiro!"
