Chapter 1 - Rainy weather

It was rainy day, spring was behind the doors and Ako was in the library, cleaning the shelves and preparing for close time. The sound of heavy rain drops was calming. One last customer showed up.

A: Hello, what can i do for you?

#: Hello, i would like to borrow Kimi no Nawa, could you help me?

A: Of course! Follow me i think we have one last piece in the back.

Costumer followed Ako to the storeroom, while Ako was slowly falling asleep after a long day at work. He gave the manga to the customer and dropped to the nearest couch. Last thing Ako heared was the closing door sound made by the customer. He was finally alone after tough day at work...

Rin was walking from school, but suddenly it started to rain.

R: OH MY GOD WHY NOW I DONT HAVE MY UMBRELLA! STUPID WEATHER I HATE YOU.

He was running for his life and he finally made it to Ako's house. Rin shut the door behind him and took off his shoes. He went to the bathroom to shower. After that he went to the kitchen and decided he will make dinner for Ako once he comes home. He grabbed some potatoes and meat, prepared dishes, and he went right to cooking. After hour or two the dinner was ready and last thing that was missing was Ako. Rin picked up his phone and called Ako's number.

R: Hello? Ako? Are you there?

Nothing. No one picked it up. After the ringtone stopped ringing he tried it over and over. Rin started to scare himself with so many thoughts what bad could happen to Ako and he started crying.

He took his shoes, grabbed umbrella from rack and went to the city to find his partner. It was raining still more and more. Rin was thinking where could Ako possibly be and-

R: OH! Maybe he is still working. Maybe his boss needed him to stay a little longer in the library and im going crazy just for nothing!

Rin headed to library, running through wet parks, completely dirty from puddles. Finally he reached the library and- the door was still opened and inside was still lights. He carefully opened the door and went inside. Noone was behind reception so he decided he will go to Ako's office. Ako wasn't there as well. Rin started to be a little creeped out, but there was one last place - the storeroom with caffe maker.

R: Ako? Are you back there?

Nothing. 

R: Ako its me Rin!

Silence.

Rin carefully opened storeroom doors and he saw sleeping Ako.

R: OHMYGOD AKO, DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU SCARED ME, WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME YOU'LL GONNA NEED TO BE HERE LONGER today- Ako? Are you- are you asleep?

A: Mhn.. hmnm, Rin? Is that you-? What are you doing here?

R: Ako did you fall asleep in work again?

A: ME? umm no definitelly not i was just umm- daydreaming-

R: Daydreaming? Its almost midnight TT.

A: Oh fuck your right. Im sorry i didnt call you last thing i remember is that one customer and then i have black in front of my eyes. Wait- why are u all wet didn't u bring an umbrella?

R: I did but there are puddles everywhere.

A: Okay its okay dont worry. I have some spare clothes back there if you want.
