Hey there, this story is almost complete. Just a couple more chapters to go.  I still do not own any of the characters in this story, sadly. But I hope you  still enjoy this.

Max and Cleo were still on stage, singing a song together after Rikki forced Cleo on stage. Cleo stopped singing while taking some deep breaths. Max notices, but he continued to sing. Cleo stood there, looking into the audience. She was worried and nervous. But she shouldn't be. They are her friends and family after all. They wouldn't laugh at her, would they? She was looking into the audience, imagining her friends making fun of her. "I-" she says nervously.

She shouldn't be nervous. It was all in her head. She sighs, deciding she had enough of singing. She grabs the end of her wedding dress, not wanting to trip on it and runs off stage. She was embarrassed, so she ran off to hide from everyone. Max notices Cleo running off, right as the song they were singing ended. "I better go find her" he tells everyone. He walks off the stage and walked around, looking for Cleo.

Alex watches her brother walking around and laughs a little. "Didn't expect that" she said. Cleo was hiding under one of the tables. But she couldn't be seen, due to the long table clothes. She was in tears because she was crying in embarrassment. She knew that would happen. Why did she even agree or listen to Rikki? She didn't want to show her face anymore. Especially to Max. She was worried what he would think if he saw her, now that he heard her singing. She hears her name being called. "Cleo? Cleo!" Max called out to her.

She didn't respond back and just kept crying under the table. Max was standing next to the table as he heard someone crying. He knew exactly who it was. "I can hear you crying" he said, sighing. More tears fell down Cleo's face. "Under...here" she said sadly. She didn't know if this was a good idea or not. Max gets on his knees and crawls under the table with Cleo. "You weren't that bad. You did good" he tells her.

Cleo shook her head. How did he think that was good? She wipes her tears away, trying to talk. "That was so embarrassing" she tells him. "People were enjoying the singing" Max added. He notices more tears in her eyes and wipes them away. "They were enjoying YOUR singing" Cleo told her husband. "I can't sing" she added. "I liked your singing though" Max said. Cleo was shocked. She didn't know if he meant it, or was just being nice. "Re-really? But I....stinked" she stutters sadly.

Max smiles. "Not to me, you didn't" he said, pulling out his wand. He waves it, making a box of tissues appear. Cleo just sat there, looking at Max as more tears fell down her face. Max takes some of the tissues and wipes her tears away. He didn't like seeing Cleo cry. Especially at a time like this. At their wedding. Cleo tries to stop crying and calms down. She then tried to smile. "Thank you Max" she said. "Of course" he replied. He uses magic to make the tissues disappear.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Gar returns back to the party after that battle they dealt with a few minutes ago. "We're back" Rachel told her friends. "Hi" Alex said. She notices Rachel was no longer in her wedding clothes. "Why the change? Its not a funeral" Alex tells the half demon. "Yeah, its a wedding"Luke added. Rachel glares at Alex and Luke. She was annoyed they would even ask her that. "Have you met me? Not into the dress up thing" Rachel replied to them. Luke shook his head, then rolled his eyes.

Rachel didn't want to deal with that, so she just crosses her arms and walks away from them. Gar watches as his girlfriend walked away. "Rachel! We just got here" he shouts. He then sighs. Rachel looks at him. "Not leaving. Just walking away form the conversation" she told him. Gar sighs sadly. Rachel felt bad after sensing something was wrong and hugs Gar. "I'm sorry" she tells him. He sighs again. "it's fine"  Gar replied.

Gar's confessional: "I wish Rachel was having fun at this wedding. How can I expect her to say yes to me when I'm ready to marry her in the future if she doesn't like weddings?"

Rachel was looking at Gar. She knew how he was feeling. It is a power she has after all. "Gar? I can sense emotions, remember?" she asks him. He sighs sadly, then frowns. Rachel knew something was definitely wrong now. "Gar...talk to me" she said. He sighs a little. "I was just hoping you would have fun at this wedding, that's all" Gar explains. "What?" Rachel asks. "I am having fun. Well, except for that battle back there" she tells him. Gar nods. "Oh...okay. It seemed like you were trying to walk away again" he said, looking down. Rachel looks at him. "Oh, sorry" she replied. Gar nods. "It's fine" he tells her.

Meanwhile, Max and Cleo crawl out from under the table after Max got Cleo to calm down and be happy again. "We're back" Cleo tells everyone. "Awesome" Mal tells her. Max smiles. "Is everyone having fun?" he asks. "Yep" Mal replied. Alex nods her head. "Of course" Cleo responded. "That's good" Max said, putting his wand away. He didn't want those who didn't know his secret to see him with a wand. "Well, I better be getting back to my place" Rikki said. She looks at Cleo. She knew she had a long way to get home. They were from Australia and the wedding was in America. Good thing mermaids are fast swimmers. "See you later Cleo" Rikki said.

Cleo nods. "Okay, goodbye" she tells her mermaid friend. She watches as Rikki walked away and watches as her sister came over to her. She knew this wasn't going to be well. "What?" Cleo asks. "That was some bad singing. I would just die if that was me" Kim said, laughing. Cleo crosses her arms, not saying anything. She didn't want to deal with anymore drama today.
