Our Special First Date

Usually Krist is not this much nervous when it comes to going on dates. He has been onto so many that he now knows the drill by heart. He is confident that the dates may not end on romantic notes but definitely on a happy note. 

But today he is nervous. Maybe it is because it is setup with the son of a highly influential family he tries to reason. Not that he is lacking or anything. Krist himself also belongs to a very high profile family, just not on the same level as Ruangrojs. 

Krist has heard a lot about Ruangrojs and his today's date Singto Prachaya Ruangroj. But he has never met the guy and he knows firsthand how much can be or rather cannot be trusted from the hearsay. Also Krist's mother had a very nice impression of the man. She had met Singto at a party and had taken an immediate liking for the young man which resulted into today's set up date. Krist was firmly against the set-up but his mother's words 'Trust me Kit. He will be the best partner you can ask for' convinced him to give it a chance.

But now he is nervous as hell, even after spending hours to look his best. He never spent so much time worrying over his looks. He once again checked the time. There was still time but he was feeling anxious. He was going to his room to check himself again in the mirror when he stopped himself and forced himself to sit on the couch of his living room. He opened his IG and tried to distract himself. After a few minutes when he couldn't take any more he decided to wait at the restaurant instead.

Krist reached the venue half an hour early. The waiter showed him his reserved table and after sitting there he once again went through all the things to talk, in his mind. He was so engrossed in his world that he didn't realise the other man approach. 

A raspy "Hello" brought Krist out of his world only to be thrown in another. Because the man in front of him looked so handsome and sexy that he was having a hard time breathing. The other man cleared his throat and said hello again. Krist was so flustered when he realised that he was still staring that he apologized and replied with a soft "hello".

'Cute'. That was Singto's first thought. When Singto had seen Krist previously in various photos he had found the man good looking. But now that the man was in front of him in flesh, his flawless white skin tinged with pink made him look cute and adorable. He didn't mind Krist's stare because if he were being honest he was also equally captivated by the other man's beauty and was also staring at him. But he had to break the moment before it turned awkward for both of them. The other man gave Singto a shy smile and that was the icebreaker they both needed.

"Hi, I am Singto although you already know that", Singto started, "I tried to come early but saw that you have already arrived. I hope I didn't keep you waiting for long."

"No no, don't worry. I also just arrived. I mean a bit earlier. Not too much earlier. I didn't want to get late. But I was so nervous that ---" Singto's laughter stopped Krist from rambling further.

Krist took a deep breath and said, "I am sorry for rambling like this. I swear I am not usually like this. I am just..."

"Nervous", Singto completed for him. "Understandable. Honestly I am nervous too. I mean it's not like it's my first date or anything but still..."

"Yeah I feel you. This date feels different... special and important", Krist confessed and something flickered in Singto's eyes.

"Yeah", Singto quickly agreed with him.

"Hmmm... So 1 point in understanding", Krist said with a mischievous glint in his eyes. When he saw Singto's blank expression he couldn't stop himself from laughing. "Don't look at me like that. Have you never rated your dates?" Krist asked.

This time Singto's cheeks turned pink. "Well... Yes I have... But never in front of the said date"

That shy expression of Singto was making Krist's stomach do flips. "Well... I also don't but since we have already established that this date is different why don't we do and talk stuff that normally we won't on a first date"
