It's that time of the year again! The seasons are changing and autumn is just around the corner, cozy sweaters and warm drinks are back again as the temperature starts to drop here where I live, the days are getting shorter which means I get to go to bed earlier, and some of my favorite seasonal things have returned as the calendar switches over from September to October.

This also means that it's time for the yearly Flumptober writing challenge hosted by the amazing @LuckyBugBooks (who I have tagged inline here for you to find)! I've really been trying to get back into the rhythm of writing a little bit each day, and this year I really want to push myself to do just that- so I have decided (perhaps unwisely) to give this a shot again here in 2022.

If you haven't been keeping up with my posts, just know that I have been extremely busy and a little bit stressed especially these past few months, so do be aware that while I will try my best to stick with the 'prompt a day' schedule, it is very likely that a lot of my entries will be a little delayed, or be published late. The point of this challenge is to have fun, so the timing isn't such a huge deal as long as I'm actually doing the writing. And who knows- if I get too far behind I may keep writing throughout the next whenever until I finish all of the prompts.

That being said, please feel free to tag me inline here or put a link to your Flumptober books in the comments section! No guaranties that I'll actually get around to reading everything, but I would love to try! I hope you enjoy this book, and I wish you luck with your own if you decide to join the challenge!

One last thing: be aware that most of the entries will likely evolve around OCs, plot points, or elements from my 'balance of light and darkness' fic series. I'll try to avoid any major spoilers or stuff that I'm waiting to reveal until later, so whether you've read it or not read it you should be fine! Depending on the prompts and my inspiration, I will also most likely do some entries based off of the LEGO Ninjago Movie, the Masters of Spinjitzu tv series, and a roleplay that I have been doing with my sister.  No prior knowledge of these things is required to read this book, though it may prove to be rather helpful!

Anyways- thank you all for dropping by to check out this book! If you are interested in reading more of my work in the meantime, feel free to check out my profile!  I am currently working on a Lloyd Garmadon x F!Reader, as well as the aforementioned Ninjago fanfiction series.

I hope you have a lovely autumn and a great rest of your day/night/whenever!
