When he wasn't acting like an annoying gnat in a bar that wouldn't be shooed away, Rasul wasn't too bad. He could even be charming sometimes. I got a picture of him in his Speedo on the boat and sent it to Amanda when we got back to the house. The boys were inside showering. Not thirty seconds later, my phone rang with my bestie on the other end of the line.

"Hello," I said.

"Who or what is that specimen?"

"That is Rasul, Eric's best friend," I supplied. Rasul obviously worked out regularly and it showed. He had tattoos that looked to be tribal in nature. It made sense with Hawaiian parents and roots. "His voice sounds like I might be pregnant."

"Holy cow. Too bad you're with Eric, who's nothing to sneeze at," she chuckled. "You guys are all up in his secluded Hampton beach house?"

"Yup. Ricky and Fred are in the shower," I told her.

"Together? And you're on the phone with me?"

"I don't think they're together, but with those two it could be possible," I laughed.

"Go find out!" she laughed too. "I want video."

"I'm not going to check if Rasul is showering alone. If I go in there he'll think I'm proposing or something," I joked. Well, I was kind of joking.

"Check Eric's shower, then. If he's alone we know Rasul is alone."

"I'm not getting you video of either of them in the shower. You have Sam," I reminded her.

"Sam isn't that hot," she whisper-yelled.

"You're not with him right now, are you?"

"No, but better safe than sorry."

"You know, it's only Saturday. You could hop on the Jitney and come out here," I suggested. It was a bus that ran from Manhattan to the Hamptons.

"That would be trouble," she chuckled. "An orgy waiting to happen. If Eric is as sexual as you say he is, I'm sure his friend is the same way. Add two hot girls into the mix and boom."

"I'm not into group activity. If you don't want to come, that's fine. The house has five bedrooms, though. There's plenty of room."

"I'm sure there is, but Sam and I have plans."

"I offered."

"I appreciate it," she said. "It's pretty last minute and I already made plans."

"It's fine."

"Why do you sound bothered, then?"

"I'm not. If you have plans, you have plans. No big deal."

"Okay..."

"Do you want me to let you go?" I didn't know what her problem was.

"You don't have to," she said. "What else do you guys have planned for today?"

"Dinner. The boat was fun. I'm tan as hell. Tomorrow is more of the same," I told her.

"I'm not going to recognize you when you get home," she chuckled.

"That's possible," I agreed. "What are you doing with Sam?"

"We're going to a show," she answered. "He's taking the night off from the bar for once."

I felt a pair of big, familiar hands slide around my hips from behind. I knew it was Eric without looking.

"Sounds like fun. What show?"

"I don't know. It's a surprise to me," she told me.

"That's cool. Ricky's out of the shower, so I should get going. Drinks when I get back?"
