~Deku's POV~
It has been four days since we had a talk about my "feelings". And that talk didn't even help me a single bit. I still acted shyly around Kacchan. But rather, I wonder what happened? Why did All Might sound sad? Does All Might have someone he loves-
I got cut off by my thoughts as I realized something.
All Might doesn't really share or talk about his past. He just talks about One For All. I never really thought All Might would be the mysterious type because of his loudness, of his smile, and of his heroic features. The only thing I know about him is that his respiratory system is damaged due to his fight with Toxic Chainsaw from five years ago and that he was once quirkless like me. But other than that, I realize I know nothing more than those.
I then, had a debate in my mind if whether I should ask him about his past or not. It sounds really useless though but curiosity is killing me.
~No One's POV~
It's almost lunch break and Deku asked All Might for them to eat at the lunch room.
~Deku's POV~
"S-So All Might.." I started.
"Hmm? Yes Young Midoriya?" All Might asked, while chewing.
"Have you ever fallen in love?" I asked, looking up at him.
"Cough, cough" All Might suddenly choked.
"A-AH! A-All Might please drink this!" I said panicky, while handing a glass of water to him.
After calming down, All Might started.
"Why do you ask, Young Midoriya?" All Might said, smiling.
"E-eeh... Nothing really... It's just that I realized you never talk about yourself other than your respiratory system and One For All. Not that I'm calling you mysterious, I just-" I got cut off as All Might started speaking.
"Yes I did, but only for a short time." All Might said, sounding sadly.
"Why? Did something happe-" I got cut off as I suddenly realized I questioned that without thinking.
"A-AHH! I'M SORRY ALL MIGHT!" I said, while standing up and bowing a few times.
"Haha, no worries Young Midoriya! Come sit, and I'll tell you what happened." All Might said, laughing. But I know deep down what he feels is the opposite.
"19 years ago, I had someone whom I truly loved. Kaeya Kinisaka. It's a really beautiful name that has a beautiful meaning. Kaeya means 'monsoon flower'. It truly is beautiful, right?" He said, looking at me smiling.
"Y-Yes, it really is." I stuttered while I was still processing what he just said.
"She should've been named 'Kaeya Yagi' then. Until..." All Might said, now looking sadly.
"The day that was supposed to be the happiest day of my life turned into the saddest day of my life. While she was waiting for me on a restaurant, a villain suddenly attacked the restaurant and ended up holding her as a hostage." He said, tears started flowing out of his eyes.
"I did manage to catch him, but in the end, I couldn't manage to save her. Because she was already... already poisoned..." He said, wiping tears off of his eyes and sniffing.
It was already expected that every hero's love story would end in a disaster. But if lucky enough, they'd get a happy ending, which is rare nowadays.
"U-Um All Might... May I perhaps uh- see a photo of Ms. Kaeya?" I asked, wondering what she looks like.
"Yes sure." All Might said, while handing me his phone.
"Woahhh... She really is beautiful!!" I said, while looking at the photo.
"Haha! I know right! I love her smile the most!" All Might said, happily.
"I'm glad All Might is now happy..." I thought to myself.
"Hold on- isn't she the victim of the Handusang Restaurant?" I said, looking back at All Might while returning his phone.
"Yep! That is right!" All Might said, smiling.
"S-So, Green Venom or should I say, Ryutoke Hadega k-killed Ms. Kaeya!!??!?!?!!?" I asked, practically jumping out of my seat.
"Yes." All Might said, looking at me again with sad eyes.
"Wasn't he the most wanted villain back in 2003??!?!??!?!" I said, with sparkles almost seen in my eyes.
"Well, yes-" All Might got cut off by me interrupting him.
"Woaaahh!! I knew it! All Might is so cool!!!" I said, now standing up while jumping.
"Haha, Young Midoriya, lunch is almost over. You should continue eating now." All Might said, by looking at me with a smile.
"Yes!" I said, immediately sitting down and chomping down my food.
