Giyuu hated Sanemi, and the latter hated Giyuu. It was a mutual declaration of hatred, or so it seemed from far away. When Giyuu wasn't isolating himself, and Sanemi wasn't hanging around Iguro, they'd be at eachothers throats, declaring war.
The other Hashira couldn't quite figure out why this was the case either, as Giyuu had already shared his feelings of inferiority, feelings that everyone misinterpreted as him declaring he was better than everyone else. It was odd to people like Rengoku, who was absolutely certain they'd finally lay off the yelling, though apparently not.
To be completely honest, Sanemi couldn't figure out what was wrong with him either. If anything, he was even more furious than before, but for a totally different reason.
lately, he couldn't keep his stare off of Giyuu. It was as if he reminded him of someone, or something. It was a feeling he couldn't shake, a feeling that felt strangely warm in his heart, combined with the rage of anger. He chalked this all up to Christmas approaching, as even he had a soft spot for the holiday, though unluckily for him, this year he was nominated to set up and plan the party, and on top of that, Giyuu was his teammate.======================================================
That is how he found himself sat on the floor of his estate, in the living area. Giyuu sat beside him, fixating on a bit of string he had found in the carpet. Sanemi thought nothing of this, as he enjoyed him being quiet more than anything else.
He couldn't stand his voice, his annoyingly soft, monotone.. somewhat pretty voice. That last part ran through the Wind Pillars head, devouring him. Was this what was nagging him, driving him absolutely mad? He couldn't bare to think about it any longer, and shoved all his previous thoughts aside as he heard the wind picking up outside, tossing a rouge hatchet around that he had forgotten to bring in earlier whilst collecting wood for other projects.
"Fuck sake." He finally spoke, turning around to look at the snowstorm outside, it was picking up fast, which meant Giyuu would have to stay here, at least for now.
"You have to be joking. OI, GENYA." he yelled, summoning his brother to the living area, as he stayed with him from time to time.
"WHAT?" he yelled back, towering above Sanemi who pointed outside to the hatchet, "What? All I see is snow?""Not the snow pissface, that hatchet!" He accused, hoping Genya would take the blame for it so he wouldn't look like a fool in front of Giyuu, who had seemingly fully distracted himself with that previously mentioned piece of string.
"Huh?? I didn't leave that there, did I??" Genya replied, somewhat bewildered as he couldn't actually remember if he had done or not.
"I dont know, did you??" Sanemi spat, standing up, disregarding the whole party planning situation for the time being. "I'll get it, but be more careful next time." Thank god, Genya had bought it.
Genya nodded, apologising before returning to his bedroom, the sudden movement snapping Giyuu back into reality, who eyed up Sanemi chucking on a coat he had lying around.
"..I want to come." Giyuu spoke, barely above a whisper. Sanemi almost missed his statement, though thankfully he heard Giyuu in the end.Sanemi had to do some debating, and quick. Whilst he didn't want Giyuu following him, or in his way, he didn't want to leave him in his estate either, god knows what he'd get up to whilst Sanemi cleared his porch. The idea of the Water Pillar snooping frightened him, as he enjoyed his privacy.
"..Whatever, just don't get in my way." He agreed, not even bothering to wait for Giyuu to get up before he marched his way out, Giyuu toddling along behind him, a tiny smile rather prominent on his face, though he was quick to wipe it away before Sanemi turned around to shut the door.
