Romano never wants to hear an "I love you" again. He hates it.

Every one he was told, every single confession, all of them - never lasted. He doesn't want that.

He wants acts, things that people do that just screams, "I love you!" But he won't get that. He's disgusting.

His brother, for example, throws it around like it's nothing. He constantly tells it to strangers, to girls, so why would he believe it is the truth?

He wants someone to stay by his side. Not Feliciano, no way, that bastard.

He's okay by himself. He's okay with Spain, even if he will never love him back. He won't stop proving that he loves Spain, but he won't ever say it.

No "I love you" matters unless it's from you. Sex? Kisses? None of that matters. They're much better with love. Romano would know.

Unloved, Romano.

~ LETS SEE THIS FROM SPAIN'S POINT FOR ONCE ~

Spain wasn't one to throw around his words. He thought carefully about what he said, knowing that he would most likely make someone upset. He proved his love through actions.

He knew who he loved, knew who he cherished.

Anyone can tell who he loves by his little comments. Spain, at the grocery store, lingering by the small things that reminds him - things that remind him of his family.

The way he looks at tomatoes, you can tell, they most likely remind him of someone he loves. (Although most people just assume he's a lunatic who fucking adores tomatoes.)

Some can tell. The look in his eyes. It's love. Again, people might think he just wants to shove a tomato up his ass, but there are people who do have common sense and put it together that it reminds him of someone.

"I haven't seem Roma in a while," he mumbled as he looked at the food. He started to walk on and shouldered his burdens off. He loved Romano; they were close friends. Romano never acted like it.

Spain knew Romano secretly wanted to hang around him. Though, sometimes, he can't help but feel unsure. His yelling really gets to him sometimes, but he just finds himself not being able to stay away from him.

Romano's just scared. He still acts like a child.

He doesn't want to be left alone by the ones he loved.
