Jungkook pushed himself up to a sitting position. He needed to make the best of this. Reaching for his phone, he dialed Nam-ju. It rang once before she picked up.

Jeon Jungkook dialed again and the ring was cut off mid-tone as Kim Nam-ju answered again.

“Joonnie, don’t hang up on me!” he shouted at her.

“He’s at work.”

“Would you fuck him if he wasn’t?” Jungkook could hear Nam-ju laughing.
