Reunited Once Again

3rd Chapter- Going on a walk

I wake up with my phone ringing non-stop. What is it? Im curious but at the same time I can't open my eyes right now. Let me sleep.

Finally after some time I open my eyes and go to see my notifications. It was a bunch of new instagram followers and the first new one.. was Nia. Famous by association? I keep looking and I see Nia had over a two hundered followers. I'm not surprised tho. Oh, I also got a text from her by sms, she probably got my insta by contact association. Let's see... what does it says.

-"Hey! Wanna meet up? Feeling kinda bored rn and kinda curious to know u better ;)"

Haha a wink? I'm feeling kinda embarassed, but sure why not? It's weekend after all.

-"Sure, where and when?"

-"I see you're down for it. Let's meet up in some place away from starbucks, it must be awful to visit your work place at weekends lol. What about we go grab some snacks and go to the park near XX street? Meet me at the entrance at 5 o'clock.

-Is that okay?"

-"Looks good to me. See ya later."

Yey, she finally texted me! I mean... it's fine I didn't care anyway...

It's 10:00am...

Okay, let's get ready!

It's kind of a sunny day but it's still a little cold beacuse we're in autumn so I put my cozy and fashion beige sweater, a basic black jeans and a brown coat.

Even tho it's not even time for lunch I can get already dressed right? It's normal to be excited to meet knew people!

Some time after

It's 10:30am

I'm bored. Let's watch Tv.

It's 10:45am

Why is time passing so slow? I'm going to read a book maybe it will help

It's 11:00am

Just 15min?! I feel like I've alread read the whole book and just 15min had passed. Ugh.

It's 12:00am

That's it. Maybe having lunch a little earlier will help.

I finished eating.

4:30pm

I think I'm going to take a walk and then at 4:50pm I go to the park.

I decide to get out of my house a little since this is driving me insane. I need some fresh air.

I pass a lot of clothes stores in my walk that I've never noticed before since I never really felt the need to buy new clothes but now that I look at this stores... they all have pretty clothes it makes me want to buy them. Would it be bad if I got to the encounter with a bag of shopping clothes??

Nevermind. I will definitely not do that.

But..maybe I'll just take a look.

It's still 4:40pm. I won't take long.

I go inside one of the clothes shop, the one that catched more my attention and after some 5min of being there I hear the bell of the door ring and look at it. It was Nia? I felt a deja vu.

She was looking around until our eyes meet.

-"Rhea! What a coincidence!"- she says coming in my direction.

-"Haha I know right."- I say not expecting her to be here

-"Do you usually come shopping to this shop? It's my favourite shop, so I though I'd passed by before we meet beacuse I had nothing to do and wanted to check new sales haha"

-"Oh..I actually It's my first time here, I also didn't had anything to do so I thought I could take a walk before we meet too"

-"Is that so? This shop is amazing! Do you want a tour? I'd looooove to show u my favourite artichles!"

-"I wouldn't mind that! Sure lead me into your touring."

I say that and we both laughed. We actually spent a lot of time going to the shops and looking into clothes. She even offered me a dress I showed instrest in! She's so kind.

After that we got tired and finally decided to go on with our original plan. In the end I went to the encounter with a shopping bag. Even tho she also bought clothes to herself.

We went to a really nice ice cream shop (and again she paid me) so after we went on a walk in the park while eating the ice cream.

-"You know you didn't had to pay me the ice cream nor the dress.."

-"Don't worry, I invited you after all, it's my pleasure."

I blush a little and say nothing more.
