Days later, the Alpha was with his group of friends having some drinks in front of the flower boy's place. The latter had not appeared around as Jungkook had expected.

But then, a pink hair dazzled accompanied by another chestnut in the distance. He smiled like an idiot and got up from the chair where he was sitting to greet him. Hoseok came almost jogging, caring little about the looks of the younger's other companions, and hugged the latter's neck with all the desire he had retained in the days they hadn't seen each other.

His friend was striding after him to get to the table where Taehyung and Yoongi were next to Jungkook. He smiled kindly and warmly at them as the Omega hugged the Alpha.

"Thank you very much, Jungkook." He spoke when he pulled his face out of someone else's neck. "Thank you for not going overboard with me in my state and for everything you did for me."

Hoseok blushed after his last words and Jungkook stroked his hair slowly.

"Do you remember anything?" Hoseok nodded, his cheeks still flushed. "Then I hope that one day you can forgive me for taking so much liberty with you."

"No!" The omega quickly exclaimed. "You don't have to be sorry for anything, Jungkook. I thank you enormously for taking care of me even when I was more Omega than person. I don't know how to thank you for all this."

Jungkook smiled sideways, looked at Taehyung, who was looking at the scene with false suspicion and returned his gaze to the Omega.

"Go on a date with me. "

The older man gasped and opened his eyes slightly.

"Y-you and me... on a date?" The Alpha nodded. "Um... well, okay, yeah, okay."

Jungkook smiled again and hugged his slim body. It was then that he noticed the other boy who was looking at the scene with almost glowing eyes.

"Hey, I didn't expect to see you here." He muttered scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"I brought Hoseok to his apartment after a few intense days. Nothing that the suppressors have been able to calm down. "

"Hello! We also exist!" Taehyung spoke with an amused voice, Yoongi kicked him under the table. "The green-haired ghost is Yoongi and I'm Taehyung. We are friends of Jungkook, although one is missing. "

"Delighted." He smiled. "I have been Hoseok's best friend for many years and my name is-"

"Seokjin?" A voice spoke from behind him.

The named turned and dazzled his worst nightmare right in front of him. Jungkook looked expectantly at the scene and Hoseok looked at everything with open eyes, understanding everything perfectly.

"Namjoon, introduce yourself." Taehyung spoke as if nothing happened. "He is Hoseok's friend."

"He knows who I am." Seokjin spoke with a hard voice without taking his eyes off him. Hoseok immediately went to his best friend and took him by the hand. "I'd better go, I have nothing else to do here. "

Then he let go of Hoseok's hand and began to walk before Hoseok's pleas for him to stop. Namjoon didn't say anything else, instead he sat next to Yoongi and preferred to keep quiet.

"Jungkook." The Omega called him. "Please accompany Seokjin. I have customers waiting at the door and I can't go after him."

Jungkook nodded like a good boy and ran off in the same direction the boy had disappeared.

He didn't have to walk far to discover that in one of the alleys near the university Seokjin was leaning against the wall and sobbing almost without making a sound. Jungkook approached fearfully.

"Are you okay?" he asked fearfully. Hoseok couldn't come because he had clients and he sent me to see.

"The world is a handkerchief." He spoke in a broken voice. "And life sucks."

"Hey don't say that." He approached the elder and sat on the curb near where he was. He patted his side for Seokjin to sit down and after waiting a few seconds he obeyed. "Do you want to tell me why you ran away? I may not be Hoseok, but I can also advise people."

"I saw a ghost from the past." He confessed. "Namjoon is a ghost from my past."

Jungkook leaned on his elbows on his knees and looked at him intently.

"The day you called me about Hoseok I told you I wasn't Alpha." Jungkook made an affirmative sound. "But I am neither Omega nor Beta. "

"Are you…?" He cleared his throat. "Are you a Delta?"

Seokjin nodded and a small sob escaped his lips.

"I'm a Delta." He admitted, showing his neck and how a fairly healed wound remained on it. "I... I never considered myself an Alpha, I always hoped to be an Omega, or maybe a Beta. But the Moon chose me as Alpha and I wasn't ready for it."

He sighed and continued.

"My scent wasn't all that strong, it could be a sweet mix, so it didn't help to distinguish me as an Alpha either." He laced his own fingers together. "But then I got into college and met Kim Namjoon. The most popular bad boy, or rebel, among all the students."

"How many years have you been out? He questioned thoughtfully. This is my first year."

"Two years ago I left university. Namjoon was a few courses below me. We met at a welcome party for new students and became friends from there. We were the two most coveted Alphas in the entire University, before he found his own group, and then... I started to fall in love with Namjoon." A small tear escaped rolling down his cheek. "I confessed it to him and he admitted that it was mutual. But we were both Alphas, it was biologically impossible to date each other. That's why we had a secret relationship and a little later I submitted to him and gave him my neck. "

Jungkook listened to this with his mouth open and his eyes lost on the ground. Namjoon... he wouldn't do something wrong right?

"Then, one day he confessed to me that he was never interested in me. he went on. He was struck by the fact that I was in love with him and he asked me out out of curiosity, to know what it was like to be and mark another Alpha. I lost my scent, rut and even wolf. And Namjoon just disappeared from my life so he wouldn't take care of my depression. "

Jungkook couldn't help but hug him and convey moral support through that simple union. He had fought so hard against his wolf to be so young, and he had also ended up losing in the field of love. A terrible thing that I would never want to experience.

"Seokjin." I asked him. "I didn't know about this story. Namjoon never said anything related, but he did talk about a past love that had left a mark on him and he had been a coward for having lost it."

Seokjin sighed and wiped away the last tears.

"I do not care anymore."  He shrugged. "It has only been time to see it after so long. Fuck it."

And Jungkook smiled.

He would get along with the Delta.
