1st Person Pov- Y/n

Hello, my name is Y/n L/n. I was born in (country) and I live in (city). I have a twin sister, her name is S/n, we basically share a braincell, the only way to tell us apart is by hair color but that's only cause she dyed it, it was originally H/c. I have H/c(hair color) hair and she has (insert color) hair. Oh, I'm also taller than her by 0.000001 inches and older by 7 minutes. I'm probably smarter but don't tell her I said that. We are both straight A honor roll students and science nerds. We share almost everything, she's like my other half. We live with our wonderful non-abusive parents who actually spend time to take care of us in an average two story house. Their names are M/n and F/n. Mom is a real estate agent and dad is a Lawyer. Me and S/n are 15 years old. Me and my sister are both trying to shift, our parent's don't mind as long as we don't summon demons and somehow manage to burn the house down. We like to read and simp over fictional characters. Anyways let's get to the story.

*beep beep beep*

I groaned when I heard the sound of my alarm clock. I got up to turn it off. It is actively 6:00 am. "Time for school I guess." I say. I stretch, yawn and make my way to the closet. I choose my outfit for today and head to the bathroom. I take a shower, brush my teeth and fix my hair. I get my backpack and went to check up on my sister since she was sick and unable to attend school. I knock and hear a groan in response, I take that as a sign to come in. "Hey S/n, how are you feeling today?" I ask her. "Don't come near my dear sister, don't get infected with this wretched disease. Go....Live-" She said in a very dramatic way, followed by a highly exaggerated cough. I rolled my eyes and said, "Girl calm down it's just a cold you're not dying." She looked so offended after I said that. "Anyways get better soon, I'm heading out now, bye." I said, walked out and closed the door.

I went downstairs and greeted my parents. "Good morning my dear parents." I said. "Good morning our favorite son." My mom said. "Yes, good morning son." Dad replied. I just stood there....menacingly. "Y'all know I'm a girl right?" I say. "Oh frl? I didn't know." My dad said. I was absolutely stunned. They've been infected with Tiktok..... "Okay fess up, who corrupted your minds with Tiktok?" I asked. "It's Nothing, we're just trying to connect more with the younger generation." Mom replied. "Anywayssss what's for breakfast?" I ask. "French toast." Dad replied. I got mine and ate it and left.

I checked my phone and saw the time was 7:03 am, school starts at 7:40 and I don't live too far. I walked to school, by the time I arrived it was 7:17 so I had some time to kill while I wait for the bell. I decided to meet up with a few of my friends and talk about random stuff. The bell finally rung and it was time to go to class.

After a long and tiring day of earning A's it was finally time to leave this God Forsaken place called school. It was 2:40, I started walking home. I decided to call S/n to ask if she wanted anything from the store. "Hey S/n, Want anything from the store?" I ask. "Yeah, I want vanilla muffins." She said in a sick voice. "Okay I'll get those and be right home." I say. "Thanks my favorite sister." She said. "I'm your only sister." I say and hang up.

I step into the store, got the muffins and went on my way home. Eventually, I came to the main street crosswalk. I waited until the walk symbol came on to cross. I walked across the road not expecting what happened next. I heard the sound of an engine not far from me. I turn to look at it, it was a frigging truck barreling towards me. My flight response immediately kicked in, I tried to run out of it's path but I wasn't fast enough. Soon I felt the impact of a massive truck hitting me, then it went black...but not for long.

1st Person Pov- S/n

It's been an hours since Y/n called, I wonder if she's okay. It normally doesn't take this long for her to get home. She hasn't called or texted at all, maybe she's busy with something or meeting up with a friend? Hopefully. Let me try calling her. I grab my phone ready to call her, I click her contact and watch it ring. "Hmm...no answer. Let me try again." I say. I try again and same thing. I hope she's okay, she doesn't normally do this. I send her a text message saying, "Hey Y/n, you okay? You're probably busy, text me whenever you can."

I'm kinda hungry now so I decide to go downstairs to get some food after taking some medicine. I heat up some pizza from the fridge and decided to watch Netflix in the living room. As soon as I switch the TV on I see the news channel. I roll my eyes, "Why do y'all like to watch the news so much." I say, referring to my parents. I was ready to switch channels when something catches my attention. "An accident has happened at (insert some place) Avenue. A young girl was hit by a drunk driver in a Truck." The newscaster said. Oh, that's probably what's keeping Y/n, maybe she's trying to help or something.

That's what I thought, until I heard the next thing they said. "The young girl has been identified as 15 year old Y/n L/n and has been rushed to (insert name) hospital." That made me choke on my Pizza. "WHAT?!" I yelled. Maybe it's another 15 year old Y/n L/n...right. They showed a picture of her on the screen that confirmed it. Y/n, my sister, got hit by a truck...and is in the hospital... At that moment I dropped everything, left the pizza on the coffee table, grabbed my purse and ran to the bus stop. I really didn't care that I was sick, all I cared about was getting to my sister, my other half.

While on the bus, I decided to call our parents. "Mom, did you hear what happened to Y/n?" I asked. "No, what happened?" She asked. "I sent her a screenshot of an article I someone wrote literally 15 minutes ago. She was shocked. "I'm leaving work right now, does your dad know?" She asked, "I don't know." I said. "I'll tell him." She said. "Okay mom, I'm already on the bus to the hospital, see you there." I said and hung up. Please be okay Y/n, I can't loose you.

I finally arrived to the Hospital and ran inside as fast as I could. I got to the reception, "Excuse me, what room is Y/n L/n in?" I ask the guy at the front desk. "What relation do you have to her ma'am?" He asks. "I'm her twin sister." I say as I provide some verification for my identity. "She's in the ER #25 on the first floor." He says. I thank him and ran straight to her. I opened the door and the sight brought tears to my eyes. There she was, my sister, hooked up to so many machines just to keep her alive, surrounded by nurses and doctors.

I tried my best to cry while I wait for our parents. After a few minutes they finally came and saw their daughter dependent on artificial matter to preserve her life. "Is she gonna make it?" Mom asked one of the nurses. "The possibility is really slim, there's about a 16% chance of her survival." The nurse said. Those few words brought a look of pure horror to my face. "Is there anything that could help? Anything?!" I asked, tears in the corner of my eyes. "Well, we could put her in a coma but that is really risky considering her current state, if it fails the possibility of survival decreases tremendously." The nurse said.

Right as the nurse said that we heard a loud continuous beeping sound. Three more doctors rushed into the room. "WE'RE LOOSING HER!" A doctor yelled. "EVERYONE DO WHATEVER YOU CAN!" Another one yelled. I just stood there with glossy eyes, this is all a dream right? Pretty soon I'm gonna wake up and see Y/n holding muffins. Please be a dream. Then we heard the sound we dreaded most in this situation. There was a long beep, her heat line was completely flat. She was gone.

Those words finally set into my mind. She's gone...I see my parents' look of pure horror. I couldn't hold it anymore. I broke down sobbing. This can't be it just can't, it's not possible. Right? "We're sorry, we did the best we could." A doctor said to us. That's when my parents finally broke. They sobbed along with me by her bed. "Y/n please, please no." I said between sobs. "My baby." Dad said. "Y/n, come back." Mom said. We stayed there sobbing for so long.

I stayed home and cried all day, it felt like a part of me had been cut off. I just let the gloomy atmosphere surround me and swallow me whole. My eyes were red from crying so much. Sadness turned to anger, I wanted to get revenge on the person who took my sister away from me. I just don't know how to. I feel so useless, if I hadn't asked for the muffins she would've still been here. I don't know how I'm gonna cope with this.

Hey y'all, tell me how this is so far. Anyways have a great day and byeee.
