Valt Aoi was so many things to his family, his friends, the world and most importantly to her.
He was an enigma, a storm that never seemed to calm down. He was sunshine incarnate, with his water blue hair whose bangs hang like dream catchers on your wall, looking like the tranquil river but is turned turbulent like waves when pushed up with that headband of his, his eyes, his beautiful brown eyes that were like melted chocolate that always drew her in with its vivacity.
He's caused quite the storm for BC Sol back then, truly he was a tornado and wrecked everything along with Rantaro but as the tornado spin its last, all underneath it was a boy clad in armor, high on his horse; a knight, a Valkyrie here to guide the souls, BC Sol's to victory, and so he did. All that was needed was absolute belief to go along with his unshakeable determination.
At first maybe she thought she didn't like Valt for the way he is and how he turned BC Sol into, but they go far more deeper than that to her embarrassment. After everything with everyone leaving BC Sol, (F/N) found comfort in the boy, his presence being the only in the team, then she began to warm up to him, began to be kinder, began to be his friend. And she understood him, she could see how even someone like him could be so vulnerable and (F/N), now seeing those parts of him, being his friend now and teammate, she helped him up, helped him to be at the apex of his strength.
Then that set course a chain reaction, she found herself longing and her eyes searching for the boy's presence in the room, it's like the world had not known happiness or kindness or color till he came along. She found herself smiling and laughing like an idiot around him, but it's okay, she hadn't felt this much before.
Maybe she liked his brown eyes, she always found those with the color to be trusting and warm.
Maybe she liked his grins so bright, like a second sun, so infectious, like the plague, she finds herself smiling too.
Maybe she liked how his heart was golden to the very brim, how he sees the good in the most horrible people.
Maybe she liked how childish and idiotic and clumsy he could be, showing how at the end they're still kids, how determined he could be even if he could fall myriad of times, how loyal he is to his friends going to the other side of the Earth just to look for them, how dedicated he is to Beyblade and BC Sol, how trusting he is towards Valkyrie.
Maybe she liked him, maybe she even loved him.
Idiot, she says to herself one day after a journey through realization, you do love him, you idiot, you've fallen hard.
Falling in love was something she didn't think she could do, she didn't think it would happen to her. The sensation provides otherworldly bliss, she's going to burst like a bey.
She thinks of him more than she thinks of what she's going to do in the future.
When she thinks of blue, she thinks of Valt
When she thinks of miracle, she thinks of Valt
When she thinks of a champion, she thinks of Valt
When she thinks of luck, she thinks of Valt
Oh, what love and that boy has done to her, any little thought is immediately brought back to him. She just can't help but want to have him.
But love is only good if it was returned. (F/N)'s taken all the lovely flowers for the answer, plucked enough flowers; he loves me, he loves me not. They always ended with the former and they have (F/N) wide awake; does he love her? Does he?
Perhaps he does when his warm earth-colored gaze would often meet her and perhaps burning in the back of her skull, when his grins, if such a thing were possible, would turn even brighter directed at her and she would be like ice that melts under it, perhaps he does when he would be at his loudest in the arena when it's her turn, cheering whether she won or lost, or when he calls and screeches her name, a certain softness and fondness is laced.
