Maggie and Lein are dancing together very closely Leon in a blue suit and Maggie in a long ball navy blue dress with straps fabric on the sides with a light grey blue ombre on the bottom with stars all over the dress "Thanks for coming Meg"
"You did promise me" Maggie smiles
"Yeah 9 years ago" Leon chuckles as Maggie blushes
"where were you these past what 9 years?"
Maggie looks down "things"
"Were you in a lab in washington? Did someone kidnap you? were you hurt?"
Maggie shakes her head "no, no,no none of that"
"So you just out and about?" Leon asks
"not really"
"What does that mean?"
"Leon does it matter?" Maggie tries to get off the subject
"Maggie just tell me please"
"A guy found me and he's been helping me with stuff" She looks away
Leon backs away "Another guy?"
"no no not like that he's an agent too it's Adam Benford"
Leon gives her a disgusted look "my boss?"
Maggie sighs "Leon"
"So he knew about you ever since Raccoon city?"
Maggie nods "He helped me out a lot"
Leon backs away more "Leon"
"Yeah help my ass!" Leon shakes his head turning around
Leon storms off "what Leon!" Maggie can't see Leon in the crowd Leon. She runs after him but can't find him "Leon!"
The next day
Maggie's walking on the sidewalk with grocery bags
I didn't expect Leon to get mad at me and walk out on me. I know he missed me but I thought he understood.
Maggie walks to the open entrance gate to see a car parked crooked inside the gate seeing tire tracks that the car was fast. Maggie keeps on walking into the house putting the grocery bags down on the kitchen counter hearing yelling from upstairs. "What the?" Maggie runs up the stairs heearing the yelling more then she runs into Adam's office to see Adam and Leon arguing
"You hid Maggie Away from the world! from her best friend! from me!" Leon yells slamming his hand on Adam's desk
"I Made a choice! You have to make choices that people won't like!"
"What's going on!?" Maggie gets in between them creating more of a distance
"Nothing!" Leon backs away from Maggie
"just job stuff" Adam fixes himself up
"That's not what I was hearing" Maggie crosses her arms looking at Leon riled up and pissed. Maggie scoffs shaking her head in disapoint "Sorry Adam" Maggie drags leon by the ear out
"Ow" Leon holds his ear
Maggie slams the door behind her letting him go. "Why would you do that?!" Maggie yells walking down the stairs with Leon
Leon doesn't reply to her as walk outside "Leon it was my choice"
Leon turns around in disblief "What?"
"He didn't hold me down Leon I chose to stay here" Maggie gulps
"What about Claire? me? You didn't care?"
