On The Run

What now

A few minutes later after being in the backseat of a cop car we finally reached the jail.

Both of the cops got out of the backseat and then came back around the other side of the car and let us out. They began to lead us into the building. Once we got into the jail we were led into a room where we had to change into jail clothes then take a mugshot. After all of that happened a different cop came over to us , uncuffed us then put Tarius and I in a cell.

Before we even knew it we were locked away for life. Everything was happening so quickly. This should not be happening right now.

The only positivity I had left in me was the flashback of what Rakim had said earlier before we were sent away.

I also have Tarius in the cell with me so at least I'm not in here with some random stranger , I thought to myself.

A few minutes went by before Tarius broke the silence.

" Hang in there man " , " Just think about what Rakim said earlier" , Tarius said trying to calm me down.

I did not know what to think anymore. My mind was racing.

I am just going to sleep this all away and hope it's a dream. I turned around then began to lay down on the hard mattress as I slowly dozed off into a deep sleep.

**** About a week later ****

A few days went by and we were still locked up in the tiny cell.

I really hope Rakim meant it when he said he would get us out of this situation , I told Tarius while still laying down looking up to the ceiling.

"Trust me , he means it " , Tarius said in a stern yes passionate voice.

" He would not just say he was gonna get us out of this to just leave us hanging here " , Tarius finally stated.

A few hours went by.

A cop walked over to our cell. I began to feel extremely panicky and tense until he did something I could not believe.

He walked over to the lock then pulled out one of the keys.

Tarius and I looked over at each other with confused looks.

What is happening right now , I thought. We just got here.

My mind was going so many different ways.

We were both sitting up in our mattresses stiff as a board while staring at the officer.

" You guys got really lucky today , You were not supposed to get out of here at all but one of your friends gave the jail and the court 7 million dollars to get you out " , The officer said.

He finished unlocking the door as he stood out to the side waiting for us to leave.

Tarius and I slowly got up from our beds while we kept taking glances back and forth.

I was about to cry from happiness.

This isn't supposed to happen we deserve to be locked up.

The cop led us back into the room that we changed in before and gave us our clothes back.

Once we finished changing the officer released us then we were free to go.

Tarius and I were speechless until he finally said something as we began walking out of the jail.

"Told you " , he said with a huge smile on his face.

We got out of the building and the whole A$AP mob , Rakim , and all of the other girls were standing in front of the car with smiles on their faces.

It's nice to be back.
