(Two days after)

After my big freak out I made sure I locked my door and window every night before bed. Today was my first day back at school which made me nervous, I always got major anxiety in high school which caused me to flip out on my friends but I've apologized for all of that now and they understood luckily.

I walked into the crowded hallways hoping to find my friends quickly but they were no where to be found I guessed I would just have to wait until chemistry since that was the first class we had together.

After many boring ass classes I finally made my way to chemistry where I saw tj and Alex sitting with some random guy laughing like they were flirting..I hated the sight it made me angry. I clenched my fist then felt a liquid in my hands. Looking down I saw it was blood. I ran out of the class and into the bathroom without anyone seeing the blood in my hands. "How-" I questioned myself.

I was so freaked out and way to scared to leave the bathroom so I hid in a stall skipping many classes until I got a whiff of something that made me finally get up and follow the smell. It led me to the cafeteria where they were serving turkey sandwiches along with some other shit but my focus was the turkey. I ran over and got in line with my eyes glued to the meat which was way weird for me since I was a vegan.

"Bro where did you go? Why weren't you in chemistry or math?" Alex asked. I didn't reply. "And why are you in line? I thought you packed that weird vegan shit if yours in your bag." Tj said. "Why so many questions!" I shouted getting all eyes on me. I felt embarrassed so I grabbed two sandwiches and ran to the table me, tj and Alex had usually sat at.

They got their food as fast as they could and joined me at the table where I had been devouring the turkey leaving the bread and cheese on my lunch tray. "Ay man I thought you were vegan?!" Alec freaked out. "I'm trying something new." I growled. "What's gotten into you? First you ditch camping a night early and now this?" Tj started getting mad. "Can you guys just stop asking so many questions!" I slammed my hands on the table and got up running out of the school completely.

I took a short cut through the woods which honestly felt amazing I had felt so free and safe like I was home. I felt the fresh air as I ran as fast as I could.

I got home and luckily everyone was still at work/school so I went and ransacked the fridge and freezer for all the meat we had. It started with lunch meat but eventually I ran out of the cooked meat from the fridge and was going to cook the steak I found in the freezer but I found it was taking to long for my liking so I gave up on cooking it and just went at it raw. I thought to myself why I enjoyed eating it raw so much more then eating it cooked.

Before I knew it all the meat in the kitchen was gone and I was still starving so I ran over to my granparents house who only lived two houses down since they are major meat freaks. "Granny." I shouted. "Darling aren't you supposed to be in school?" She asked. "Gun threat they canceled." I said quickly whilst looking around. "That's terrible are you ok?" "Fine grandma I was just wondering if you had any meat?" "Why aren't you-" "I quit, I'm not a vegan anymore and I'm ready to try any meat you have just anything..please." I begged. "Honey are you ok?" "I'm fine granny I'm just hungry and we haven't got anything at home." "Ok dear go wash up in the bathroom and I'll prepare some fried chicken for you huh? It's my favorite but I'm basic." "Sounds good granny thank you." I smiled and rushed upstairs to their bathroom.

I was so hungry yet still had so much energy. I started to smell the chicken grandma was preparing. I could hear a low growl coming from myself. I looked down at my hands and saw claws. "What the!" I jumped back and then saw myself in the mirror with hairy sideburns, long fangs and yellow glowing eyes. "What's wrong with me." I whispered. I grabbed my backpack and took my earbuds out of it so I could play some music to hopefully calm me down.

I was shaking as I listened and hummed the music trying to make all this go away. Hell I was a freak!

I heard knocking on the door about ten minutes after the music started. I quickly looked in the mirror to check if the fangs and eye color went away..they had. Then I checked for claws and thankfully those were gone too so I opened the door to grandma. "Are you ok sweetheart you've been in here awhile." "Fine grandma I had just gotten a call from Tj." "How is tj and Alex?" She asked as we walked back downstairs to the dinner table so I could eat the chicken she made.

"They're good." "That's good." She smiled. "Wow you finished that quickly." "Yeah I've discovered I love meat recently."

I left my grandmas house after saying our goodbyes and decided to call tj and Alex to ask if they could meet up at my house after school, they said they could..I'm going to tell them about everything that's happening with me.
