Chapter 1

It was like any other day for Madison. It was sunny outside so she went outside to her and her parents farm and went up to her horse Spartan. "You want to go for a ride boy" she asks him. He neighs back to her so she takes that as a yes. She gets his saddle and puts it on him. She leads him out and then she gets on him and they start their ride up to Madison's favorite spot. They get there and Madison ties Spartan to a tree. She puts a blanket down and along with her song book. She sits down and goes through her song book. She goes through all of the songs and runs into a song that means a lot to her so she decides to sing it. Little did she know that Colton her best friend was right behind her.

She finishes it off really strong while crying really hard. Colton goes up to her and sits by her. "Maddie are you okay. What was that song about" he asks looking at her with worry. "Don't worry about it Colton you wouldn't understand. Know one ever does. I am just so alone and I don't like it" she says crying even harder. He brings her into his chest. "Help me understand. I wanna help you please tell me what I can do" he says. She gets up and goes to Spartan and gets on him. "I will see you at the wedding later I have to go get ready" she says and her and Spartan gallop away from Colton. Madison just lets the tears goes down her face. She gets back home and untacks Spartan then puts him in his stall. She goes to the house and goes up to her room. She takes and shower and gets ready for her moms boyfriends brothers wedding.
