"Okay so here's what your going to do your going to help me with this show." My friend, Emily, Said.
"But it's all fake Em you know that because you have already produced like, what? 17 seasons of this, it's just fake and you know it. Not even a quarter of the couples even get married!" I said.
"Listen, Gabi, you haven't had a job Ina while and this can be your shot. Your name could be in lights." Em shot back.
"But-" I reciprocated
"The pay is $3,000 an hour." Em said.
" YOUR LOOKING AT YOUR NEW BATCHELORETTE!" I said whilst jumping for the couch we were sitting on.
Em smiled and while clapping her hands said "YAY!"

The way there was a ruckus, I'm not even used to waking up this early on a Saturday morning and even if I was I would be in my bed eating cereal and watching Netflix in my bed.
By the time I got on the set I was blinded by all the camera's and all I could see were dots.
I was about to trip over a wire on the floor when Em Caught me. "Thanks Em you always got my back!" I said while silently laughing. "Get it because you grabbed from the back and -"
"Say something like that on set and your not going to be getting the money." She said jokingly.
She gave me a tour and then I decided to walk around some more until I bumped into a guy And coffee spilled all over me.
"Oh here let me get that." He said while getting a napkin.
"Oh no,no,no. This is just a set up okay good one Em!" I yelled across the set
"I'm not a bachelor I'm just the camera guy." He said.
Oh great now I'm embarrassed, he's humiliated, and I just ruined my first interaction with a human being without trying to get the dirt on me.
"Oh I'm so sorry I should not have said that. I screw up a lot, I'm Gabi by the way."
"Oh hey! We have that in common I screw up a lot to, I'm Mike but my friends call me Mikey."
"I like that name it has a nice ring to it, I'm the bachelorette for this stupid tv show."
"Oh so you are? Well good luck on finding "the one." But let me tell you these guys are either perverts, only care about themselves, or REALLY needy."
"Well that's good to know, I'll see you around, and oh! Here's my number you know for the show just in case you want to talk or something." I smiled and handed it to him and walked away to the buffet bar.
"Oh my god! Gabi!" I recognize that voice. "It's me, Luke Caster, I'm one of the bachelors this season." Oh yes i remember him my ex-boyfriend.
"Oh how fun in the bachelorette." I say trying not to sound sarcastic.
"Well I'm going to grab 5 buffalo wings and go." I said. "Oh Gabi you never change do you ?" Luke said. "Nope just like how I don't change my feelings about you!" I say and step on his foot and sashay away.
You go girl! I think in my head.
when I pass by Mikey he gives me a thumbs up. when I finally reach Em at the other end of the set she asks me why I'm in such a good mood, I just say "I feel like this going to be such a good season for you Em."
