Eyes on me

Chapter 2

Ricardo's pov
My father had made the mistake of thinking I would I would accept this girl and just give him an heir. No that could not just happen. After this charade of a wedding had ended and everyone was tired of partying. I called Paul my personal assistant to get a car ready for Sophie and I. We both got in the car and headed to the De Luca mansion.
  "Um hey"
I suddenly heard from beside me. I turned to the side to confirm if I heard correctly. When I didn't hear anything, I just said a simple hi.
" I wanted to say thank you for not kissing me today at the alter."
I just replied with a simple hmm
She was about to speak when we came to a stop. I guess we were now in my mansion. The driver came out and opened the door for me then went to do the same for Sophie. I turned to the side where I could hear her breathing and brought out my hand for her. "Welcome to the De Luca mansion"
"Wow" was all she could say or all I herd her say.
She took my hand and I led her into the mansion. As we walked upstairs her things were being brought from the car so I just kept walking with her behind me.
As soon as we got upstairs, I stood in front of my room and began searching for my key in my pocket.
"Is this my room or are we going to have to share a room?" She asked with a bit of sass in her voice.
"Okay this is new" I thought to myself
I hadn't realized she was with me. Your room is the next one, right next to mine.
I heard her footsteps behind me as she walked to her room. Once I found my key, I opened my door and locked it immediately I got in. I saw down in my bed and my eyes began to water, I knew this would happen because I hadn't taken my eye drops and I could feel a tingle on my way to the mansion.
I walked toward my drawer and took out the three of them. One had a sharp tip, another with a blunt tip and the last one with a circular ball on top. I took the one with a blunt tip first, then took the one with a sharp tip followed, by the one with the ball on top.
This helped me know which one I had to take and when I was meant to take it.
    Once I was done with the medication, I changed my clothes and went straight to bed. I woke up to a loud bang that seemed to come form the kitchen.I didn't bother putting my slippers on and just went to the downstairs.
I heard Sophie cursing as I neared the kitchen wondering what the hell was going on. I walked into the kitchen when I heard Sophie scream
"Don't move"
I was about to take a step when she said
"Can't you see the hot oil on the floor"
I took a quick step back and checked my pocket for my phone. I quickly dialed Nina's number and called her into the kitchen.
I heard hurried footsteps and knew Nina was in the kitchen.
"Oh my goodness Ric, are you trying to destroy the our feet." Nina said clearly angry
She pushed me to the sofa and I sat there while she cleaned the kitchen.
"I'm really sorry for doing this" Sophie said with not as much sass as before.
Nina alerted us that she was done cleaning and I stood up went back upstairs to take a shower.
 

Sophie's pov
How did he not see the spilt oil on the floor. It's not like it was a small amount that couldn't be noticed, it was a huge amount of hot oil that could easily be spotted.
Something is probably wrong with his eyesight.
I went upstairs right after I saw him leaving the living room. I went upstairs to my room and took a quick shower because I wasn't really in the mood for a long shower.
I went with black wide legged jeans and a white crop top.
  As I was applying my makeup, I heard a faint knock on my door.
"Come in" I said still applying my makeup
"Are you dressed in clothes to go out" Ricardo asked softly
I looked to the side to see him at the door finally done with my makeup
"Yhh I can wear these" I said referring to the clothes I was currently wearing.
"I want you to follow me to work" I heard him say again.
I nodded my head while I was looking for my earrings.
  After a few seconds I heard him say
"Won't you at least reply"
"Ohh I'm sorry I hadn't realized you didn't see when I nodded my head" I replied
"I prefer being answered with words not actions" he said and left the room right after
Ok that was unexpected. I wore my earrings and my shoes then went downstairs to meet Ricardo

"Hey do you mind telling me what I'm going to do at your office"
"When you get there you'll find out"
