"A doctor will be with you in just a bit. Hang tight."

"Trauma to the head lead to amnesia, I believe. He doesnt remember his own name."

"Yes sir."
"This is gonna be tricky then."
"I'm not sure if hes going to remember anything anytime soon. He was out for a whole [◼◼◼◼]. Its a miracle he even woke up, especially when his injuries were so severe."
"Its a shame that his body wont be physically able like how it used to be."
"Yeah. I feel really bad for the little guy. Not to mention, he did go through [◼◼◼◼◼◼ ◼◼◼◼◼] from [◼◼◼◼◼◼] for a while. Glad that menace is behind bars."
"It truly is unfortunate that he was one of the many victims. But anyways, we should get back, we don't want to keep him waiting for too long."
"Tell an available nurse to inform his mother the news." He sighed

I lied there.
awake yet asleep at the same time.
confused yet understanding
"Sir? The doctor is here for you."
I slowly turned my head and there was a tall figure.
"Ah yes, erm. You are going to have to be here for a few days to try and heal your amnesia."
I tried to speak but nothing came out.
"◼◼◼◼◼? Are you okay?"
I tried
nodding
speaking
any sound or indication that i was fine but
nothing.
"Just simple blinks for yes and no if you are not comfortable speaking. 1 for yes, 2 for no, and 3 for unsure. So now I will ask, are you okay?"
i was.
"Alright. Now, do you remember anything? Any snippets or fragments of memories?"
...no.
"Absolutely nothing?"
no.
~~time skip, asking questions and such lol and a LOT of blinking~~
"Alrighty then, we will help you walk in a bit, Im going to leave the room. Try and attempt to get up, even just a little bit, ok?"

I saw him walk out.
I kinda like him. hes nice.
why doesnt it seem familiar though? shouldnt I have experienced this before? why does it seem so comforting like nothing in years?
I ended up being able to at least sit up.
It felt like time passed by without me when I found myself back in bed.
Its nighttime.
I wanna sleep but I dont want to either.
But what else can I do?
I cant even recognize my own name.
